Point Lookout Bowls Club

Had an amazing week at Straddie, we decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner so we can finish on a high note. The Bowls Club certainly delivered. Great friendly staff every time and the food was absolutely amazing. Very reasonably priced for such beautiful quality and quantity. Staff will make sure to look after you. Highly recommend!

Had high expectations after reading other reviews but sadly was disappointedWe waited to be seated as requested but we started to feel we were invisible & cluttering up the enterance wayEventually a young lady came , did not engaged at all & with lack lustre enthusiasm told us our table number - left us to found our own seat sTold that there would be a wait as there was a large group that needed to be fed first, still wanted to taste the meals , we were happy to wait & have a drink.But sadly the lady behind the bar didn’t know what a Reisling was .Eventually our meals arrived - meal did not meet expectations.They tried hard but just didn’t gel.Unfortunately we won’t be rushing back , may be an off night

New Chefs - New Menu - Fantastic!We ordered a starter and two mains for under $50 (not including drinks of course) and the quality and overall experience was phenomenal. We ate high restaurant quality food whilst enjoying a comfortable club feel. The menu is priced in your favor and the quality is next level. The meals tasted even better then they look! They also source local seafood. I cannot recommend the bowls club enough. If you have visited before in the past, I definitely recommend trying their new menu. If it's your first time visiting, you will not be disappointed! Big thank you to the team, we were very pleased with the food and service.

Delicious pizza and great live music on a Sunday arvo. Absolutely loved it. Plus lawn bowls is so much fun.

Knowing this place quiet well from being part of it and seeing all the last comment from the last 6months! I do confirm that the place is one the worst I have never been and seen! Before booking or going for food or drink be aware of the bad hygiene of all the area! You will find mould and leaks in the roof close to the table! The maintenance and cleaning of the venue is badly impact on the service and the food/beverage! Think twice before going and take the time to read the last comment wich are really justify.

FOOD SAFTEY ALERT: Please avoid the restaurant. RAW CHICKEN parmigiana under the crust and layers of cheese and ham. Not a little bit - full pink raw in the middle. We dined with our 2 year old, thankfully his nuggets were not raw. No apologies and had to ask for a refund. I will be contacting the office for food health and safety.The friendly waitress said sorry after I told her we expected at least an apology or acknowledgment. Don’t blame the friendly staff on the counter - there was a male chef there and actively ignored the interaction.My biggest regret is not taking a photo, we were both just so shocked, and the waitress whisked it away.

Wait times at bar were to long. People working behind the bar do not seem interested being there. One bartender said it was pizza night and the other roast night. Then they serve the locals even though youve been standing there 5-10 minutes longer. Locals just look at you smugly because they know that they pushed in. Left and will not be back. Beers over priced. Have to rate 1 star because it doesnt go lower. Mexican place next door is definately a better choice! Much more friendly there and food is delicious.

Had a drink and played some bowls. It was good fun and the staff were nice. We didn't have dinner, so I can't comment on the food.
