It was a hassle-free experience renting an apartment through the RPM Group. Jane was informative during the rental inspections, and was prompt in processing applications and notifying me of the outcome. She was also very helpful in arranging the administrative work and repairs for the property. All in all, Jane is a reliable and responsive property manager, making the move-in process smooth and efficient.

Not recommended. Disappointed with Jane Omerod's property management service for a 3 bedroom city apartment. Example: Final inspection report showed damage on wall. Agent advised tenant to repair. Later, tenant claimed to have repaired but did not provide evidence of the repair. Landlord instructed agent to hold the bond until there is documented evidence of the repair. True enough, subsequent inspection found repair was not adequate. Agent turned around and told landlord the missing paint is due to wear and tear; suggested to release full bond and not proceed to VCAT (if the tenant decide not to rectify the wall). We had to show the agent photos from start of tenancy, mid-tenancy and end of tenancy to demonstrate the tenant caused the missing paint on the wall due to a large wall hook the tenant installed. We also sent Jane guidelines from Consumer Affairs Victoria to show her the difference between wear & tear and damage. Missing paint due to wall hook is damage. In her own words, Jane wrote I have worked in Property Management for 20 years..." Well

We sold our property and were in a bit of a panic regarding a rental property. Catherine was very professional from initial property inspection to our lease acceptance. She was very aware of our situation and did everything to help us. After we got information that our completion may be delayed, Catherine did everything to hold the property until we had cast iron confirmation that we were going ahead I cannot recommend her highly enough

The team RPM are absolutely fantastic. If we hadn’t been lucky enough to meet Dean Irvine at an open for inspection, we’ll still be searching for a place to live. Unlike other agents, he took note of what we were looking for and rang my wife to say that he had a property she might like. The paperwork process was not something I was looking forward to, but Megan Taylor made it seem simple and definitely stress free. Another review mentioned that the team at RPM keep open the channel of communication and it’s absolutely true. The overall level of expertise, professionalism and customer service has been really appreciated. Can’t recommend RPM highly enough!

Worst experience renting through this company. It would take up to a month to receive a response from him at times. We had an issue with mould that we had to chase to get fixed and not to our surprise, it never was. Marcel had claimed he contacted someone who apparently came to the house to investigate, we had informed him no one had come and still a month later nothing was done about it. We ended up moving out and are with a much better real estate company now.We often found him unprofessional and even sharing information with us that if we were the owner, would not want that shared. He would claim that he wanted to negotiate with the owner regarding issues and contract but then would come back saying it was all out of his hands each time.Even though we could not get a response quick enough to give a month notice, he wanted us to pay an extra month when we moved out. We had always paid three months in advance and he was aware that we would not be staying if the owner would not negotiate price and still threatened VCAT if we did not pay. We ended up forgetting our bond as it was causing so much stress but it was definitely not deserving, especially when there was a mould issue not rectified for months that was making my daughter sick.We had left the property in a much better condition than we had received it, even the real estate agent had said so himself after the six month review but still tried to claim we needed to amend and clean many things that had been cleaned or were that way when we received the keys to the property.Honestly save yourself the trouble and avoid this company, it isn’t worth it.

We had to extend a day settlement as it was hard to find a builder and making a contract during locked down. This crusial time, they charged me 550$ for just extending a day settlement which is rediculas. Don't go with them as never helpful even during covid pandemic and locked down period.So don't go with them.

Since 2008 with real estate under RPM management care, I must say that it has been a smooth journey throughout until some bumps" when Covid Pandemic hit in 2020.RPM managed to regain their shine in 2021 and I must accord special commendation to Miss Jane Ormerod and her team for their responsiveness and efforts.Thank you RPM management
