I had my air conditioning fixed in my car by Tony and I will say he went out of his way to try to make it as cheap as possible to fix for me.I found the service at Carey Bay Auto Electrics to be very good. thanks Tony.

My experience was very poor. The issue was a combination of their skill level and their attitude.I asked them to install an aftermarket head unit for my BMW. When I got it back and drove it away I found that there was no sound and the idrive didn't work anymore. I returned and was tersely told that it was a software configuration problem. Working in software this didn't sound right. I contacted the supplier and they said it sounds like something is not connected correctly. Again I contacted Carey Bay Auto Electrics and they refused to acknowledge that they had not installed it correctly. So one Sunday I pulled it all apart and sent a bunch of photos back to the supplier.See the bit marked in red in the picture

Excellent service, the lads really know their stuff, professional and clean workshop, some may notice a slight premium on the price, however it is accounted for with quality service with detailed diagnostics to a level not normally seen around Newcastle - a poor man pays twice.

I had a simple job done on my car and it looks great. If what Tony has done is an example of his work then I'd highly recommend him!

Rang at 3:30pm about my Air Conditioning, in late spring, assuming it's its peak season for complainers and there air cons. But was warmly greeted and told to bring it down whenever for a look. Was told that he could have it done tonight as he was working back and if I wanted to pick it up after hours. So basically did it in an afternoon. Absolute champion.

Absolutely fantastic service! Tony helped me out massively on a Friday arvo when my alternator shorted out. Really friendly and knowledgeable. Will only be using him for my future auto electrical needs. Thanks again.
