Excellent primary! as long as the parent do their bit, their children will be well looked after and taught at Hallam Primary, excellent teaching program! excellent communication between teachers and parents, will recommend it to anyone who is willing to work with their children and the school, keeping in mind the school starts at home!!!

My four children have all attended Hallam Primary School over the last twenty years and I have nothing but praise for the teaching staff and the exciting programs like the amazing science and technology units that run at Hallam PS. I would encourage anyone to enroll their child at Hallam PS it is a GREAT school.

This school has been nothing but positive and supportive of my two children since they first started attending in Prep. I couldn't have asked for a better environment, management team and staff to take care of them while I work!

While looking for a school in the local area, I was immediately impressed with Hallam Primary and the extensive extra programs available to students. Being a past student, I was glad to not only see positive upgrades to the school but the presence of experienced and dedicated staff that make my children feel welcome and supported everyday. It's great to be a part of a community that meets the needs of my child's educational and emotional development. Highly recommend!

Personally this school was great, but as I started to grow, I realised how bad the environment was, the teachers where somewhat great!Although the vice principle was just not it, im afraid she was being racist to my friend last year, which was really not the smartest choice as a vice principle. If you decide to enroll your child here go for it but beware of the vice principle❗❗Hopefully when your child enrolls here the teachers that have taught me are still here, i am positive they will help your child grow!!!

Its time this school got upgraded and some fresh less bitter leaders is greatly needed .Very outdated school and i do not recommend it .Strongly suggest you stay clear of it . Your childs mental health is more important than the distance from home. I removed my child due to victimisation from his peers

I attended Hallam Primary back in about 1966-67. and was just looking for some history of the school. what a shame the management do not see fit to display their history, when it was established, how it grew over the decades etc. When I attended, we used to live on Belgrave-Hallam road. there was a large water storage dam opposite our house and an egg 'farm' behind us. between our house and the school was vacant land. not like now, completely overrun with homes. on the southeastern corner of the school grounds was a sand roll/round yard for horses and the farm owner would often have his horses along his fence line. great for kids. many a day a couple of us would help him with his horses during our breaks. delivered milk, remember those things? used to be delivered around 9:15, left out on the quad and for a time, myself and another boy were tasked to retrieve the crates and stow them out of the sun. most kids and teachers didn't bother about room temperature milk in those days. it was drank and that was it. the head master, I can not recall his name, had two little Pug dogs he used to bring to school every day and he would often task one child to care for and walk them. those are just some of the fading memories I have of Hallam State School.

This is the primary school I once attended as a student and now my children do also. The principal and staff go beyond their duties to support the students and ensure they are getting the best possible outcome for their education. They have alot of diverse programs and genuine care for the students that attend.
