1 Seam Alterations

Paid to get 2 x pair of trousers let out on the waist. When I got home, I realised that they hadn't let them out as they are the same size as when I dropped them off. Stay away from here.

Rude and impatient staff and very overpriced- wanted to charge me $90 alteration ($150 dress) just to take the dress up slightly and then was rude about it when I declined service and also said that she’s getting impatient when trying the dress on, so rude! Steer clear of this place

The alterations done were neat and service was timely. However, just a word of warning - they don't seem to keep accurate records when it comes to payments (cash accepted only) and freely admitted they don't provide receipts. They also accept payments before the job is done. So you can see how a problem may arise if the shopkeeper fails to record that a payment was made beforehand. So if you use their services, make sure you insist on a receipt to avoid confusion when you pick up your alterations (plus it's your legal right as a customer).

Poor customer service. Took my dress in to get a quote for repairs but she advised me she can’t fix it and when I asked if she could just put it in writing so I can send it to the person that damaged it, she refused. I said you just have to put what you are telling me in writing but she was very rude and walked away. Disgusting! I will never go there again.

Horrible experience! Today i took my wedding dress there to have the hem line taken up. The lady looked at me and said you can't afford this alteration". She never mentioned a price..... i never mentioned a budget.... she just judged me! Im shocked!"

Their work is not bad most of the time but they are rude. On more than 1 occasion I have found them to be rude and over-priced. They have judged me for ethnicity & related that to the price. If you are ever unhappy with some detail of the work, you will receive a rude reply. So be cautious there is a risk. If you are unhappy about some detail the response will be pay more money or shut-up. You will not have it your way.

I gave in 2 jeans and 1 formal pant to get altered and it was done exactly how I wanted it and very professionally. I also required it urgently and the lady made sure I had my pants returned back to me within a couple of hours. Definitely recommend these guys!

Really over priced and very rude.I took a dress to be altered and they wanted to charge me double the price of what I had been quoted elsewhere.When I told them that was too expensive, I got a very rude response and was told I had wasted their time. I was in the store for a while of 5 minutes, and it was an all round terrible experience.Would certainly never recommend

I have use 1 Seam alterations many times and always found the work to a high standard. My experience this week has prompted me to comment here. My son needed his suit trousers altered for his formal this weekend. I got caught up on Saturday and forgot to collect the trousers from the shop and when I realised this, it was after 6pm on Saturday. They are not open on Sunday. I called their listed number and explained my situation. The store owner offered to drive in on Sunday morning and open the shop for me to collect the altered trousers. This level of excellent service and customer experience saved me from a very stressful situation. I would highly recommend this business!!

Needed an urgent job done on my business shirt. Rang a couple of shops in the Castle Hill area and they were so expensive. Ended up getting my shirt done here. It was much cheaper and the turn around time was fast. Thank you for helping me out.
