Our experience of this service was extremely positive in that it linked us with an amazingly qualified, experienced and caring sitter at extremely short notice! It would be great if certifications could be sighted on Sittr in advance of accepting bookings moving forward but luckily ours arrived with all documents in hand. Highly recommend, particularly for first time sitter users like ourselves! :)

Good when it works but baby sitters can just cancel a few hours out from the job and you just get left to pick up the pieces. If it’s an important date I wouldn’t be using this service.

We recently used Sittr to find a baby sitter for our two children, one of which has some medical needs It was easy, efficient and Chelsea was perfect with the kids while giving us peace of mind that her knowledge and experience would have anything sorted. Highly recommend and we will be booking again soon.

I been this app for a while but it’s appalling that on the website it says $32 per hour but when your looking for individual jobs it’s $27.00 and this is only so that means this app steals your hard earned cash! Absolutely disgusting!

I have had a pretty negative experience with Sittr on my first use. App is extremely hard to use, when you accept a babysitter it still leaves the job open so other people keep applying, there is no instruction to delete the job or let other applicants know that the job is allocated, and I was worried it would cancel my current sitter and I had no other way of contacting her if that was the case. Furthermore the app decided to charge my card an extra $60, this was because the sitter also found the app hard to use and put in that she worked 5.30 hours instead of start time of 5.30pm, This caused an extremely stressful and upsetting experience between myself and the sitter who is such a lovely girl. I wont be using this app again, definitely not Australia's #1 babysitter and nanny appEdit to add because I cant reply to to you directly - I DID THIS - I ACCEPTED THE BOOKING/APPLICANT BUT MY JOB WAS ALSO STILL IN OPEN STATUS. I am waiting for my bank to take this of pending so I can put in a chargeback - You shouldn't be taking additional money from peoples accounts without approving it with the cardholder. I have now deleted the app so unfortunately I cannot send screenshots, the carer was however lovely and beautiful and I was quite angry at her initially which wasn't fair to her.

I was very happy with Sittr, as I was new to using baby sitter apps, I did have some issues with how to use the app, however I was very happy with the service & help I got in acquiring a baby sitter.Every message I sent with my concerns to Sittr was promptly answered.The lady we got as a baby sitter was very experienced & trustworthy.I would recommend this app to anyone wanting to get a baby sitter

Love this app. It was easy to use and we got our last minute job for a baby sitter for our three kids filled within 30 minutes. Scarlett was on time, had all the qualifications and checks and was wonderful with our kids. Highly recommend it!

Hands down the worst babysitting app. Absolutely horrible, took 2 weeks to get my profile verified even though I sent everything from day one. I sent so many emails as well as requested in app assistance but did not get a single reply. Meanwhile they do not let babysitters set their own rates, 25 an hour in absolutely not realistic, new babysitters and babysitters that have years of experience should not be getting paid the same. 25 an hour is $0.30 over minimum wage, that is not good enough. To make matters even worse, to be able to use the app you must have first aid and working with children check which costs a fortune. Absolute waste of time and money. No wonder parents love using the app, they get amazing babysitters that have worked with children for so many years at the lowest and scummiest price ever. Such a shame to place parents happiness over the success of babysitters. Definitely deleting the app and 100% not recommending it to my nannying friends. So disappointed.

The team were really helpful when putting up my job ad and the process was really easy. The babysitter I ended up getting for my one year old was amazing. He warmed to her immediately and she made me feel.comfortable leaving him in her care. Will definitely be using this service again.
