Maleny Showground

Great country show with horse jumping, wood chopping and cattle judging. Sideshow alley is available and also great displays of local craft and horticulture.

There are no rooms at the showroom as far as i know but plenty of camping space.Expansive grounds with plenty of large ovals and show pavilions. Large sheds and good amounts of.toilets all over.Hardly any or no reception for phones, so bring cash. Went for the Wood Expo. There are plenty of exhibits, plenty of bargains with all the timber available. Lots of food choices, musicians, activities, and ahows. Kid friendly, but some would require adult supervision, of course.

It was quite nice. We met Atila and Chiquita, they were as drunk as it gets, and told us were to camp. Some heavy rain and hail unfolded, Atila and Chiquita just stood there getting wet, so nice.

Great facility. Walking distance to town. Beautiful river. Friendly people

Congratulations on your Show, the best display of Horticulture, and exhibits I've had the pleasure of seeing. It was worth the trip.Keep up the great work.

Very layback camping with power around if your power lead reaches, good showers, although you have to pay a dollar.Very large area, so I would think it would never get booked out.Nice walk to town through bush.The only negative is that it has no camp kitchen

Great facilities 2 new amenities blocks so 3 in total powered & unpowered sites available for campers. Great variety of playing fields all adjacent to beautiful wildlife filled creek with lovely board walk to walk into town

Nice area to go for a walk with dogs. Not far from town! There is a camping area with amenities. It's pretty popular for camping, so make sure you ring for availability! There is an area where the dogs can run! Just make sure you pick, you know the drill! :D

Lovely showgrounds a few minutes from Maleny town centre. $25 a night with power. Plenty of space & amenities (with showers) were very clean.

Super place to put up the Swag for a few days.... Maximum of 3 nights at a time, perfect for the local sites.A nice walk along the boardwalk takes you into the base of town.Maleny has all you need and more in the way of shops and stores.Platypus are in the local stream and regularly show themselves to those who remain quiet and patient.We were fortunate enough to see 4 different ones in different areas and all times of the day by watching for just a short period of time.The showground has lovely amenities and clean ones at that.Cheap price in comparison to all the local camping areas, where you might be close to the beach, but you're practically on top of your neighbours...Thankfully not here....many thanks all.
