The Good Guys Browns Plains

Was sold a washing machine and required a waste hose extender. Was assured that the one size fits all extender would do the job. It didn’t. Spent 1 hr on the phone to someone who did not understand what I was talking about and thought it was the water hoses (um, no). Was assured I could return the useless product (the extender, not the machine) only to be met with ‘you can’t return’ when I attended in store. Finally spoke to the manager and got a refund. Would not recommend this place because the salespeople don’t care and their product knowledge is hopeless. Useless over the phone service when I called for help and then to be greeted in store with no you cannot return after receiving assurances that I could. Won’t be back. Bad service and rude!

What an absolute joke. Spent 20 minutes standing at an item and was totally ignored. Was dressed like a Bogan so may not of helped, but did watch 2 salesmen fawn over a couple of good looking roosters. Was looking to buy 2 fridges haha, in the immortal words of Julia Roberts Big mistake good guys

19/5 2.30pmI visited to inquire about their range of 60cm Rangehoods. To start, was after some guidance on what would be best for my needs.I stood in the kitchen section for 5mins without ever being approached. There were no other customers in the entire kitchen section.A female staff member asked if I needed help seated from her desk where she was seated with two other staff members.I have never experienced such a lack of desire to sell me something before.Each question was met with a short and reluctant answer. They seemed to not know stock levels or able to provide basic answers to questions such as ‘which rangehood would you recommended in this price range?’. I asked if they could order nil stock items in but the answer was a hint for‘Please go away as it will take a long time to arrive’.It was pretty obvious none of the staff I observed had any knowledge about kitchen appliances nor sales experience.I’ll now be purchasing my rangehood from the good guy’s competitor just around the corner.Shop elsewhere as staff here are obviously not managed to provide actual sales customer service.

Poor customer service.Asked on the phone if a price match was possible with amazon. A lady called Bianca said yes only to reach the store to be refused to price match We waited for a while to find a sales executive to pull out a microwave which was on display but could not find anyone. Went to the front desk to ask for help. That lady announced thrice that help was needed in the microwave section but no one turned up.We were so disappointed that we ended up ordering the same microwave from Amazon way cheaper.Not returning.

Just went into the good guys, sales person was lovely. Went up to admin and the short, shoulder length blonde headed girl had as much personality as wet fish, with a monotone voice. Felt that she could benefit more customer service training, as she is unfortunatley letting the Browns Plains store down. The start of my experience was wonderful, but the end felt very unwelcoming.

Worst customer service ever. Two sales both had no idea of the product. The Indian looking gentleman was at least very honest and trying everything to help, which I really appreciated. The more senior level sales looking lady pretended knowing the product well, gave me misleading and confusing information. Completely BS. Been buying only from this good guy store for over a decade, it’s no longer reliable and hard to trust their professionalism.

We went in to view a few products. And asked if they could do a discounts if bought all at once. Some discounts were almost not worth asking eg $3 off one or two but over the range and larger items the overall saving was about $200 which is not bad. One item needed delivery (only $55 delivery fee) way better then most places, anywhere between $80 and $150. And fast delivery. Thank you, you really are the Good guys.

I came in to purchase a tv and the Sales Guy was exceptional so friendly and knowledgable. Went to go pay at the front counter to be greeted by the lovely Kiwi lady whom was so very friendly explained to us about our concierge and even helped ensure we were registered to receive our store cash. She was so very patient helping us set up our payment on the phone and never made us feel we were a burden even though she spent almost 15mins showing us. What an experience would definitely be back again. They truly live up to their name.the good guys. Could not fault the high quality service I received ☺️

We were helped by Karina a few weeks back. She was excellent, she did alot of running around for us and looked after us.
