Been with these guys for years as a client, Never had issues except for recently, I asked genU for help and it was a nightmare obtaining it, eventually I received assistance however when Interstate last year the carer was temporarily suspended at my request I had ran out of funding, I then asked to have the carer reinstated after I arrived back in Victoria as I had a new set of Funding which was available for immediate useI made many phone calls at my own expense, the staff who operate the office are very rude and uncaring, Jo didn't even acknowledge that I had called the same day when I tried to receive an answer why my call was not returned, if you hate your job, fine but you do not take it out on clients and carers who are here to help support business, it is like walking into a cafe (believe me, being refused service for not being abusive or under the influence, has happened to me, and as of such, this cafe I am referring to did go out of business, and another shop at the same site, also bit the dust, for the same reasons) and the management do not treat their customer like a VIP, this is the very behavior that leads to business going bankrupt and failed business, and the owner racking up massive debt as the result of his/her business going insolventI was already on the system so it is disappointing that they treat people like, oh! we only want the money, nothing else! after 3 weeks with no return calls, this lady who was supposed to call me on a time we agreed upon which was Monday 22th at 2pm (I received no calls from then and up until now no communication, not even an acknowledgement if they want the work or not, you just have to say no genU, don't play these games with me!)if these guys didn't want to help they could have just told me, Jo, Cheryl or Sheree whatever your names are if you are reading this, thanks to your lazy and uncaring attitude, we are done, I am taking my business elsewhere, there is nothing more to say and no correspondence is needed, You have lost a client who tried very hard to make this work for not just myself, but you too, but you only have yourself to blame by putting business ahead of clients, In addition to your failure, you should be ashamed of yourselves for denying quality staff work, your employees work very hard at their expense for your executives to live the high life, c'mon tell me what do your pay your CEO? I guessing tons more than the minimum wage, more than what you would pay everybody else!I am pulling the plug on you, you have been nothing but disappointment and grief, you keep saying that you will return my calls, YEAH RIGHT!Carers of the disabled and elderly, Avoid genU at all costs!, they used to be great, but the merger of St.Laurence & Karingal was the worst business decision ever made, I cannot wait to see genU go under if that ever happens, I don't know if it will or notUPDATE 26/04/2018 After nearly 3 months with no contact, a week ago they finally called back, sorry too little, too late, GenU does not care about potential clients, they take forever to return calls, and when they finally called me back, I already had hired an independent contractor, the only thing GenU cares about is taking clients money from them that the organization is not entitled to, I had these problems before with employees and management blaming each other and most commonly blaming me for doing the right thing by making follow up calls to ask why I was not called back, every time I asked to be put through to Cheryl, she was never available, I don't know why but if you're not capable of doing your job, you should be sacked which is what should happen to Cheryl, she is incapable doing her job let alone return my calls!As I have stated already Do Not Call me again EVER!, we are done never again will I do business with GenU or Karingal or St.Laurence, whoever these guys call themselves!

I’ve delivered programs for genU and I’ve worked with clients who use genU’s services. Everyone I’ve come across has only nice things to say about them, my personal experience is that they genuinely care and always do their very best
