Next Steps provide a necessary and uplifting service to people - Men, Women and Children alike.Their work in raising funds and distributing assistance packages to the victims of domestic family violence is beyond reproach.A well needed and well run organisation. Keep up the good work.

Prior to coming to the Bar, I spent a number of years working in the housing and homelessness sectors in Melbourne. More recently, as part of my work as a barrister, I have had the good fortune of encountering Next Steps Australia with its particular focus on assisting women and children escaping domestic violence. I wish to commend Next Steps Australia for its belief in the power of women and children to create new lives beyond their past traumas. The work of Next Steps Australia in providing women and children with Starter Packs (containing such items as new linen and towels) underscores the organisation's commitment to honouring lives free from violence.

The support of this wonderful organisation has been so beneficial for our clients in crisis care in W.A. The linen packs supplied continue to empower women and their children who arrive at our refuge locations often with nothing. The work that goes into organising these beautiful linen packs is also much appreciated by our staff and improves our clients sense of self worth considerably.Thank you for supplying these much-needed items and we encourage the community to support Next Steps Australia and the great work they are doing for people affected by family domestic violence.

When I first came on board, I was sceptical. I have since spoken to a few fundraisers and I am so impressed with the training and actually treating me like a human being and not just a number. Taking the time to ask me how I am genuinely is a tick in my books. Keep up the amazing work. Its a fantastic cause.

This mob NEVER EVER stop harassing you for donations even when you ask politely. It is creating a domestic violence environment in my household because they simply REFUSE to accept NO!

I have been supporting Next Steps for a couple of years now on a fairly regular basis and am proud to continue to do so. I know NS is based in Victoria but I wonder if there is any scope to expand to other states; I live in NSW where I am sure there is the same need by the people they support.And big hello to Valerie, my wonderful phone friend from Next Steps.
