Waterfront Restaurant
Spent around $70 for 2 meals and was requested extra $1 to top up a pot of tea with hot water. Petty and embarrassing. Something I have never heard of before. Respectable venues have cold and hot water freely available to their customers as this is already included in their price, especially if the latter is already at the top range. When questioned, it looked like $1 was a big deal and a matter of principal for these guys. So never coming back. What's the logic here of earning an extra dollar and loosing hundreds as the customer will never come back.

Incredible breakfast spot. Wandered in here for Sunday brunch and had the mushroom benedict with bacon added. It was a stunning breakfast and a stunning view. Coffee was also spot on. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Worth making an effort to be here!

Waterfront Restaurant Urangan Hervey Bay is a beautiful part of the world. It’s situated right on the beach waterfront and the view is breathtaking. A perfect choice for breakfast or lunch. They also specialise in private functions for your special occasions. We look forward to the day when an innovated and dynamic chef opens for dinner and is awarded international status by turning this venue into a chef hatted restaurant!

Great place to enjoy views of the water and Fraser Island . Situated beside reef world aquarium. Dog friendly seats outside entrance , or you can sit inside or out on balcony . On the balcony you can experience the sea breeze as well as the viewsFriendly staff, good food and coffee.We had their big breakfast , bacon & eggs Benedict, with a mocha and a cappuccino. Very good sized servings Food tasted good . Mocha was yummo and cappuccino good. Cost $50.50.Recommend trying.

My partner had the Bart’s bowl which she enjoyed but I had the waterfront platter which was nice apart from the chips which were cold and tasted like they had been cooked earlier & the “cook” forgot to reheat them. Unfortunately I could not complain as the wait staff did not come near us again until we got sick of waiting to at least order a coffee. As a local I am very disappointed

After such a wonderful experience at Waterfront Restaurant, we decided to try our chances at booking a short notice wedding, and Natalie (and Natasha and the team) were absolutely incredible in hosting a stunning wedding and reception (we had to move the ceremony inside due to some unfavourable weather). The food was delicious and the whole afternoon/evening was amazing). We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at this restaurant this week. Staff were attentive and friendly. It was really great to be able to order a smaller serving. Food was delicious.Plus a great view. Going to return soon for morning tea.

A very lovely place to dine at, the waterfront views are lovely and the service the staff provide is friendly, efficient and helpful. The food is delicious and the cocktails are really good too.I also recommend finishing off your meal with a delicious hot coffee and one of the in-house made cakes. yum.I will be a repeat customer.
