Western Sports Centre - Home of Cricket

This place used to be our go to cricket centre as a team, and we've utilised many different services they used to offer from bowling machine hire, lane hire and cricket gear purchases. However, we can no longer recommend this place to anyone as the customer service has been appalling lately for the past few months.There are constant arguments now for extra charges on additional players and extra time utilised during our lane hire sessions when we have had no issues for the past 3 years; mainly by the older tall gentlemen that works on Saturdays. He would ask us to pay extra for being overtime for a measly 5 minutes, saying we are charged for the amount of time that we are physically present in the nets even when our session is over by the time, and even when there is absolutely no one else waiting to make use of the nets. This penny-pinching mentality serves no business good and it is abundantly clear what they are trying. We have found a better centre that knows the value of customer service and will only keep this centre as our last resort. It is absolutely disappointing how they let down their regular customers and how they have no aspect of customer service.

What a disgusting costumer service. It’s took more than 2 months to repair bat (toe repair). It surprise me when I went to pick up, they charged me as fully repaired although toe was just glued. Never recommend anyone. Worst place ever.Picture attached

Received great service and advice from Bob with my bat repair. He fixed one of my favourite bat which I was going to throw away. Made lot of runs since he fixed it and made the handle for my liking.

We had a football game at the centre and had a fantastic time. The space was appropriate for a small group indoor match.

My first visit was amazing 2 years agoVery friendly staff, but online orders are really poor, before placing order I confirmed that what I am going to order once order was placed they found that they don't have items in stock which was time wasting and frustrating but staff was helpful to return straight away, mixed experience, they need to be more professional that's it, otherwise good.

Terrible customer service. Bought items online, they were too small for our son. Tried numerous to contact Western Sports Centre but they never answered or returned emails. Claimed they never received email from us. Mail the items back with note for a refund, the parcel was never picked from the post office and subsequently returned to me. Now I'm have post the items back to them again at a cost of $17, making the postage more expensive the items. Would not recommend them at all. I get much better service from Greg Chappell Cricket Centre.

We were served by Anand today at western sports centre. Anand was extremely helpful and patient. Excellent customer service and he has a lot of knowledge regarding cricket bats. Thanks Mate will definitely be coming back.

Update: booked a Bowling machine and I ended up driving for half hour just to be told that there was a mistake and they couldn’t see my booking on the system. Terribly disappointingBar service: Did a terrific job with my bat. Repaired cracks, knocked it, oiled it and made the pick up lighter. The person also takes time to explain in detail. Highly recommend!

WORST BAT REPAIRING EXPERIENCE EVER!!Gave my bat (SS Ton Retro Power Plus) early October for repair. Today is 21st Dec, so been more than 3 months but the bat is yet not repaired.When I spoke to you on 12th Dec on the phone, I specifically said that if my bat is not repaired within that week, then I want my bat back. I will get it repaired from elsewhere.So when are you guys returning my bat? I DON’t WANT IT REPAIRED FROM WESTERN SPORTS !!Horrible service

Worst experience with these people while I gave my bat for repair.The bat repairing guy told me a date that he will give me the bat but they didn’t do that and I have to wait for another 1 week but they gave my bat without the proper repair toe clue came of on the next day if you want time to do your work inform the customer properly don’t give fake commitment
