Curtain Wonderland

I have been shopping here for the past 2 years and have always been happy with the quality of stock, the pricing and the helpful staff. My recent experience with Deb was fantastic. She is very knowledgeable and was a great help with the purchase of my curtains.

Despite my mother ordering her blinds and curtains in February, she received no correspondence on the status of her order. In July she rang this store, and was directed to call numerous other phone numbers herself regarding her curtains. Whilst we understand that delays will occur due to the events of this year, we received no notification or communications which was the real issue. When we finally demanded a refund for the products in July we were told they had (miraculously) now arrived. We were then given an installation time and date. Two hours after the installer was due to arrive, we attempted to ring the numbers provided on our installation email. Neither of these connected and so we were left confused and frustrated as to what to do. Finally, we rang the Maroochydore store, who provided us yet again with head office numbers. Only upon threatening to demand a refund, were we assured that the installers would arrive. Nearly 3 hour (and 6 months!) later, they did come, initially bringing the wrong blinds into the house. Whilst the installers themselves were polite and efficient, the blinds (that had been made to measure) were in fact no the correct size. We would not recommend going through Curtain Wonderland and a repeat customers over the last 20 years, we will certainly never utilise their services again.

Increased the quoted price by 20% without telling us, required an additional deposit without telling us, expected us to wait an additional 12 weeks because we didn't pay the deposit we weren't told about. No apology.

Bought curtains online and returned them because they weren't suitable. I have been unable to get a refund even weeks later. I have sent many emails and left phone messages but no one calls you back. Do not buy from Curtain Wonderland.

Ordered click and collect online. Was a easy process and messaged the next day saying ready to collect. Unfortunately I stood and waited to be served for around ten minutes. One lady serving another customer and another on the phone to another store. I was acknowledged which is a good step. Once I was served I was out in about 40 seconds. Just not used to this slow pace in service.

Staff is extremely helpful. I have to exchange the size of the curtains that I purchased online and they went out of their way to help me. After sales service is very good and provided great tips and advice on how to hang the curtains properly. Thank you for brighten my day!

I have come in multiple times over the years... and whilst the staff are friendly enough once they serve you, I have waited anywhere from 20 minutes up to 40 minutes to be served. To clarify, multiple staff members are behind the counter and there is not a single other customer in the store. Once service is offered, they are friendly, however I am just so surprised this is my (and upon comparison, others') experience.I was there yesterday and they made an error measuring the ready made curtains I was purchasing. I had to take time off work and go back today and repurchase additional curtains at extra cost (after already spending $500). Now I've got home and started installing them, and the extra curtain rod ends that I paid extra for, don't fit the rods they recommended for me to buy. Even after my querying 'Are you sure they will fit?' So this will be another hour in the car tomorrow, going back to replace them or return. SO unimpressed. Why not just order online and save money if the staff in the store can't or won't help you?If I were the manager, I would want to know this is my customers experience. As a huge supporter of local shopping, this is so disappointing.

I never write complaints but I am very disappointed that I had mould on my curtains when I opened the package to iron out the creases. In the past I have the backing flake off like so many other reviews. I was hoping there might have been an improvement in the manufacturing. Will be returning them on the weekend.

I was shocked by the behaviour of one of your delivery truck drivers this morning.He was exiting the home central shopping complex at Birtinya at 9.34am this morning. There was PCR Testing along Kawana Way and as he was in the left lane, he tried to push cars over in the right lane so he would fit. The correct thing he should have done was slow down and merge. He was behind me and almost hit me.I then moved over to the left land when he passed me and attempted to run me off the road! I had to swerve into the gutter to avoid a collision. He then proceeded to give me the finger. He's rego is 148WWE. I have dash cam footage which has been forwarded to the Police with a formal complaint !

Great service, nothing was too much trouble. Rang back for extras, same great service. Highly recommended
