Big Cat Green Island Reef Cruises

$130 for the ticket, free use of snorkel gear and lunch incl. the check in process was quite smooth, you get your snorkel gear soon as you’re on board. Gotta provide something for deposit, money or license etc.40min ride to green island,l. We saw a turtle as soon as we got off the boat, the pier is quite long. You’ll be told about which beach has the life guards etc. there are beach chairs and umbrellas, $40 to hire to the resort and a little stall there for snacks. The staff on the boat were lovely and the lunch was delicious! The reef was mostly dead but saw a lot of fish

Very good value for money. Had the best time on green island. The staff was amazing and the boat clean and had enough space for everyone. For the money spent it is great value, better than many other snorkeling tours (whitsundays)

I had a great experience doing the 9am half day tour that included snorkel gear. Was greeted right away walking off the boat down the pier by a sea turtle! Snorkeling and coral were great out are the pier area. Even though a much larger boat followed the smaller one I was on, the island never felt crowded- was easy to find nice isolated beach to lay on. I have been unhappy on mass tour boats previously- too chaotic and very long days, so the half day option was perfect.

Check in was a breeze and plenty of room on the boat. Very slow journey to island which seemed to take forever. Disappointed with how I was spoken to by one of the older members of the crew. If the commentary is not loud enough to hear, then expect questions from your guests. Lunch was absolutely delicious and we had a nice day on the island. Saw a lot of fish near the jetty area but not as many or the variety I have seen on other Great Barrier Reef tours. Worth doing this tour if you haven't done others previously.

Excellent customer service, very friendly and helpful staff. We being non-swimmers, Kristy encouraged us to do the guided snorkelling, which turned out to be an amazing experience. Never thought we would ever be able to do snorkelling. This experience was the highlight of our trip to Queensland. Kristy gave us the special attention and care that we required in order to take the decision. Big cat green island Reef cruises are one of the best reef trip cruises in the town.Friendly staff amazing lunch. The cruise was very comfortable and not too crowded.We have tried glass bottom tour, mini submarine both of them are amazing. They feed the fish in middle of the ocean. That’s so amazing and also you get to see the most amazing reefs in the mini submarine.I haven’t tried the snorkeling safari but we brought snorkeling gear and tired ourselves to go around the reefs.

Amazing day out! A must do! Limited seating in bar area and restaurant does good only. Snorkelling under the pier is amazing

We absolutely loved our recent trip to Green Island with Big Cat Island Reef Cruises. It was fast and smooth and we had a wonderful day exploring the island and snorkelling in the incredible waters exploring the corals and marine life then swimming at the gorgeous beach ! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience. Almost 1.5 hours on boat one way and then Green Island was awesome.Beautiful views of nature.Beautiful water coloursStaff was very helpful.Scooba dive option was available however it was slightly expensive.Within the ticket, you can opt Water bottom boat and semi submarine, excellent views of different coloured water available from semi submarine.You may not see lots of different colours of fishes but enough for making your experience awesome.Green Island was awesome.
