Art Gallery of South Australia
The Art Gallery of South Australia (AGSA) is a great place worth taking children to visit and experience art. It is free. The staff is very nice, helpful and professional. There are some Free Tours almost everyday, which children like very much and get some new experiences. We walked across the Adeliade University campus from the beautiful Torrens River to reach AGSA. I think we will go there again.

I feel like I will never get bored of coming here. Sure it’s not as big as other cities, but the building in itself is art! Such a stunning place, and a wonderful collection and variety of art. I’ve been here many times and will continue to visit every now and then :)

You can go in for free and brought our tourist friends here and it was great and we all had a lovely experience. There was though a minor incident where one of my friend’s mom sat on a chair that was for display and it wasn’t meant to be sat on. Would be nice if there’s a bigger sign so that even the elderly can see it. If you have a backpack, you have to wear it in front. I always love the upside down tree installation that goes around. It is relaxing. It’s also nice there’s place to eat downstairs at the lower level. Worth a visit.

This beautiful art gallery is a great places to visit. The entry is free. There are so many interesting art works on display. They also have artist museum. We can easily spend few hours here. They have a museum shop and a cafe. Must visit in Adelaide.

Beautiful art gallery to visit while in SA, the ladies at the reception were so lovely & knowledgeable. Plenty of seats should you need to take a break every now and then. So many different style of art in different rooms. Allow 90 minutes at least.

Wish we left more time to visit this gallery because wow it was much better than we expected! I really liked the layout of the art pieces, so much spatial potential to work with in photos and in real life when you’re browsing.

Went to The Andy Warhol Exhibition.A lot of history there and very famous exhibits. Was a bit expensive at $25 per adult but the rest of the gallery could be viewed for free. Definitely worth a visit.

The museum itself was beyond my expectations. There were many precious artworks from all over the world. From Rodin to Yayomi Kusama and Australian artists. Minimum 3 hours are needed to check each piece. There is also currently Andy Warhol exhibition until May. I skipped it as I saw Warhol’s artworks a few times in different countries but it should be visited if you are yet to see the Warhol’s world .

Amazing free access - art Gallery, we enjoyed all the different halls. We recommend this place for spent a few hours and look around.

I felt like a 65 year old with red frame reading glasses when I had this delicious pumpkin soup with sourdough on a slightly chilled autumns day today.The South Australian art gallery is world class in its offerings and the management is exceptional.I come here all the time and love it.
