The Art Scene West Ryde

I gave two stars only for the lovely floor staff who was very helpful with my initial purchase. Unfortunatey the pleasant experience stopped there. The manager was defensive and rude, no apologies- eventhough it was their faulty item that I immediately brought back the next day. I asked for reassurance that I could return the exchanged item if the same issue arose. The manager's attitude and tone was argumentative. Unfortunately the exhanged product had the same issue. After wasting so much of my time having to travel back there for the second time- I decided to return the faulty item and the rest of the products that I had not used. I took my money elsewhere. It's a pity they don't see customer complaints as an opportunity to build more trust.

Fantastic store with really nice staff and an epic variety of products!Prices are reasonable, student discounts are available, and the store does have parking.Keen to shop here again :)

It has everything! Art galore! I love it and the workers and helpful! My one stop shop. Prices is a bit steep but that’s cause they stock high quality products

Giant hidden gem, massive selection of paint, brushes, papers and all sorts of things I’ve never heard of. Super friendly staff. Lost an earphone and a nice lady helped me look for it (although I think I’ve lost it forever). Extremely busy on Saturday mornings since they close midday and are not open on Sundays.

Exceptional service and attention to detail. The staff are so incredibly kind and helpful. Yesterday I had two frames made and could not be happier with the finish, right down to having d-rings for gallery display as well as wire to hang at home.

Packed to the rafters with all sorts of art supplies. Was a pleasure to browse and buy. The type of place you end up spending an hour in, just to look around at the massive variety.

Little difficult getting here by public transport, walked from West Ryde station only to find the front entrance" in the street is actually closed off so I needed to walk quite a way back in order to get to the rear where the actual entrance to the store is
