Tree Elle Retreat

Tree Elle is an absolute oasis amongst an already very beautiful region. We stayed in the barn style cottage and it was perfect in every detail. Warm bread on arrival smells amazing and having the fire pre-made ready to light was an excellent touch. Walking through the stunning grounds and seeing all the animals is fantastic for the kids and if you’re lucky you might even get to feed a few. The owners are very friendly and will make your stay amazing!! Worth every penny and then some.

We stayed at Barnhouse for 3 nights in April 2021. We were 3 families with grownup kids. Kim was very welcoming and helpful upon arrival. This place is absolutely beautiful. The secret garden is magical and the accommodation was spacious and clean. Upon entrance to the house, we were welcomed by the smell of fresh baking bread. The bread maker machine is a plus and we enjoyed making fresh bread in the afternoons. We look forward to staying again at this stunning place. Thank you Kim!

We didn't stay over but the gardens are beautiful and worth a visit if you are in the area.

My family and I have been returning to stay at Tree-Elle Retreat for the last 8 years. We all love it. Kim and Peter are fantastic hosts and make you feel right at home. The houses are perfect, comfortable and spotlessly clean. On arrival the fridge is always full of breakfast staples and Kim has fresh bread baking for guests as you walk into the house. Delightful! The property is amazing, beautiful gardens surround each house so you have privacy and a beautiful view. We love walking through the gardens and visiting the farm animals. Our kids are always eager to return to Tree-Elle every year to feed the animals and collect eggs every afternoon with Kim. Its great to watch the kids having so much fun in the outdoors and getting to do things they don’t normally do living in the city. There is a lot to keep everyone entertained close by. The beaches are great and Peter is always ready to tell us the best spots to go fishing. We will definitely keep coming back.

Tree Elle is a magical little place that captures your heart! The loft houses are well equipped, and the warm wood fire and fresh cooked bread on arrival adds to the cozy feel. The property itself is beautiful, with many gardens to explore. Our kids loved joining in to help feed the animals every afternoon. The owners are so welcoming and happy to share their tips for travel around the area. It’s a fairy tale place and we would love to go back.

Special note to thank the staff Kim from Tree Elle Retreat.We had been welcoming and greeted by Kim. When we walked into our Lofthouse, the beautiful smell of the fresh baking bread from the Oven made us so welcome. They had prepared everything we asked, and with all other exclusive; Breakfast, fresh filtered water, fresh farm eggs, fresh strawberries, an amazing garden, earlier prepare firewoods, an amazing lookout view with beautiful animals. This is a place you must stay in Peaceful Bay, especially for a family with kids.

Absolutely beautiful gardens and accommodation. Lots of great places to sit and have a coffee or glass of wine in the garden. Kim is super helpful and the freshly baked bread in your kitchen just adds to the whole experience. Definitely staying longer next time!

It was luxurious because of furnishing, toiletries n bedding in the lofthouse. The concept of farm to table was priceless (freshly laid eggs, invitation to pick herbs from the garden for use in our meals prep etc), especially for city dewellers. Most importantly, Kim was prompt in replying to our clarifications prior to our arrival n assigned a loft house accordingly to our needs. Excellent n attentive host!

Peaceful, serene, tranquil.The gardens, the sheep and alpaca's, the fresh baked bread. The lofthouse was well equipped for our stay. The location was perfect for getting to the hotspots.Highly recommended!!

Beautiful place and overwhelmed with the scenery. Its was nice for the kids to feed the farm animals and to play around the property with being worried. Kim was very genuine host and the fresh bread was amazing. The fridge and pantry was stocked with milk, cereals, eggs and tea / coffee. The photos do no do justice to how good this property was. I would recommend to any of my friends.
