Alpine Fitness Centre and Sports Lodge

I would give a -1 if I could. Rooms are so small. Beds have plastic covers that are SO uncomfortable. The rules of the place is also ridiculous with no TV or sound after 10pm?.. there’s literally surveillance cameras everywhere in the living area and absolutely 0 privacy with no blinds over windows or doors. Had random drunk people walk into our room at 11pm. Literally the worst experience. Only stayed there one night but I couldn’t imagine staying longer. At least in prison you get ur own toilet in ur cell. Highly recommend not booking a trip and ruining it by staying here :).

Any danger of answering the phone to allow casual entry into the gym? Or are people who visit Bright for a holiday excluded from getting a workout in? Shambles. I touted this place to get some workouts in whilst I was away, only to be met with zero response or reply when calling the number left on the door for casual entry, should the venue be unstaffed. Joke. Just as well that this is effectively the only gym with adequate facilities in Bright. So I guess I won't be getting a workout in for the remainder of my trip, because I definitely won't be giving this place another go. I'd rather just do push ups than bother with a place that clearly doesn't care for casuals or tourists to the area. North Korea is more welcoming to outsiders.

I’ve been going to this place for about 5 months now and i can tell you now this place is very underrated. It might be a bit small but don’t let that make you underestimate the place because it is brilliant. The owner of the place is an amazing and friendly person plus he has pretty solid advice when it comes to certain workouts. If i could rate more stars i definitely would!

Only stayed here overnight on our way up to the snow fields. No issues with the self checkin process and everyone else was respectful and stopped making noise and went into their rooms when it was curfew. The rooms were clean and all had their own split system. Although we didn’t use any of the extra facilities, we had a bit of a look around. It’s not just a winter accommodation, but has a lot of things to cater for the summer months.

Great price. Great location, short stroll along Morses Creek to the town centre. Matt was great with friendly advice and info about the surrounding location. Definitely recommend.

A good (maybe the only?) budget option in Bright. Friendly staff. The room was great for our needs, as were the lounge areas. The kitchen could use a deep clean, but was fine for our needs, especially as we were the only guests.

Alpine Sports Lodge is amazing!! We stayed here for 2 weeks and the facilities were perfect for everything we needed. Tons of fridge space, cooking utensils, everything was extremely clean/comfortable, and the owner is lovely and super accommodating. Can’t recommend this place enough.

A very unassuming place from the outside. Nicely renovated interior so it was really nice to stay in. Close to town as well.
