Horrific. I presented at ER in chronic pain and unwell with a digital ulcer. I was drug tested, refused medication and laughed at when I cried. I actually had a bone infection!! Negligent and inhumane treatment.

I went to emergency department on the 18th of January.Kim was the nurse.Due to my condition (kidney stones) I have been to several hospitals and this has been by far THE best treatment I ever had in an emergency department in Australia.Thank you for your help and keep up the good work.

Do not go to this hospital if you value your privacy. I was forced into signing away my medical privacy under duress because I was told I would not receive medical treatment if I did not sign the form. I was not told what the form was about. Heard the nurse boast later that was how he got patients to sign away their privacy all the time. He also said that he thought public patients should just do as they are told. They have still not got back to me even though I made a formal complaint. DO NOT GO THIS HOSPITAL - SUCH A LACK OF INTEGRITY.

Went to admit myself due to suicidal thoughts. Was made to wait 2.5 hours with those thoughts going through my mind. It states those with an emergency get priority, that was not the case today. A sore throat triumphed potential suicide,to me mental health should be taken more seriously.

Don't bother calling the Hospital Dentist, both my husband and I have been trying to call for two days straight and are continuously put on hold, only to be hung up on. Don't bother calling for dental emergencies, better off going in which is often a waste of time.

Waiting time Is horrific, Staff are rude when doing the entry exam.Family came in after me needing to get to get their daughters breathing tube in And they also have been waiting almost an hour and a half.Only way to get looked at in this hospital is if you come in ambulance just to be treated in a Inhumane and disgusting manner. teach your staff respect

Something obviously needs to change the health care and support in this town and in bigger sense Australia is a joke :( I need help it's an emergency but no one will help me I was going to go to the er but after reading the comments obviously it won't be any better then my doctor not helping me in any way it's a sad world when you can't rely on the people who are there to help I do not know what to do :(

My mum was admitted last night, when I called from interstate, the switch receptionist knew exactly where she was and put me through to A Ward. The lovely nurse I spoke to was very helpful and put my mum on the phone for me to talk to her. If you can't understand the laws surrounding the privacy act, I recommend you look them up.Thank you for helping my mum when she needed it.
