Great local landscape company that installed some steps in the retaining wall at our home, the guys kept us in the loop with what they were doing and always cleaned up after they finished for the day. Akers are well worth talking to about anything to do with landscaping.

I had my back lawn removed and replaced with new soil and roll out lawn by Akers of Lawn in November 2022. The professionalism on the day and all subsequent lawn care maintenance visits has been exceptional. I would highly recommend Akers of Lawn.

The team at Akers are very willing to help and share their expertise. With their help I’ve transformed my dirt patch out front into a resilient and lush soccer ground for the kids.

Very impressed with the service leading up to and after our lawn, irrigation and paving was installed. The team rocked up and got the job done with military precision. They did in five hours what would take me five months.

I contacted Akers of Lawn to remove my existing grass ( if that is what you call it ) that had been laid on clay by the previous owners.I was advised that there is 2 ways to fix that lawn.One is scarifying which would be a temporary fix, or option two that is to remove the existing lawn completely. The soil would then be improved by adding Gypsum, calcium, natural minerals, iron, zinc and organic to the clay.A loam turf mix would then be the base for the instant turf to be laid on. I went for the 2nd option.Drainage was also an issue that was rectified before the turf was laid.Overall, Akers of Lawn were very professional in all the work that was carried out and cleaned up afterwards.The men worked very hard that day in giving me a great lawn that I can now enjoy.I would recommend Akers of Lawn to anyone that needs work done to an existing lawn or a new lawn.

Akers started with an uneven mess of builders debris and weeds and completed our retaining and turf in a few short days! The tradespeople were lovely (and most of all cleaned up after themselves completely). And the admin, service and finance have also been incredibly professional and responsive. Thank you, we have recommended you on several occasions.

I promise I don’t work for these guys nor am I paid for this review… so with that out of the way I have to say I was blown away by their service. Started with the company owner Dal. Old school terrific guy… so upfront and honest about what I needed and what I didn’t need. He would regularly visit to prepare the area without any fuss. Then installation day. There was a whole team of guys on site from 8am as promised. The thing I noticed the most was they were all happy, all friendly, all said “good morning “ and then got on with the job. Absolutely transformed my front and back yard within 48 hours. A few weeks have passed, the lawn looks great and it’s surviving my 7 month old German shepherd who loves to dig.If you’re looking for lawn and someone who knows what they’re doing to install it I’m 100 percent behind Akers of Lawn. They know everything there is to know and they stay with you for 3 months after the lawn is installed to make sure YOU know what you’re doing to give the lawn a long life.EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE AND VALUE. if I could give them 6 stars I would.

Akers of Lawn provide a friendly and professional service. They dug up our backyard and laid new lawn and irrigation. They were on time and did a great job.We continue to use their follow up service to look after our lawn.Highly recommended South Aussie company.
