We have dined at Hopscotch often. However today, although there weren't many customers when we went there for coffee, we waited over 15 mins for 2 coffees which were just very luke warm despite asking for one to be very hot. The delicious toast arrived much earlier than the coffee we ordered to have it with, so we had to consume it before it was cold.Sadly, this has happened before. A disappointing experience despite a lovely venue. As prices are quite high, satisfactory food and drinks should be guaranteed.

We had a large group which was accomadated easily. Our waitress was so lovely and got everything right with our order. Other staff were also very professional and friendly. Coffee was delicious.They also have a great kids menu

Nice service / atmosphere - However, the coffee were not the best.. first they got the order wrong and then sent out another coffee that was way to sweet to enjoy and STILL charged us even though we didn’t drink the coffees and had given them feedback. A little overpriced for one meal and 2 x coffees too was a bit of shame.

Terrible experience. Wouldn’t recommend eating here. You’ll get more happiness taking food to the park across the way - there’s bbqs at the park.We spent $82 on food for 2 adults & 2 children, which is higher for a lunchtime budget, also if the portions were decent it wouldn’t have bothered us as much. We paid $20 for a mini burger , that tasted dry and had 1 lettuce leaf.As I was waiting for our food, the waiter rudely came up to me saying I need to pay for fruit with the kids meal as he didn’t charge me. I said that the menu said it came with fruit or chips as a side to which he got aggressive demanding I come to the front.After getting the manager, she said not to worry and barely addressed me to apologise, but did offer a refund. I refused as I was happy to pay for our meal.The waiter never apologised or asked us how our food was. Looking back I should of got the refund.Terrible.Coffee was warm.Looks like you guys have a lot of customer service to improve on, especially if you are choosing to hire people with difficulties, be observant on their customer service always.I will never return.

$20 for the worst wrap I've ever had! Hardly anything in it, the chicken was so dry I could barely bite into it and the drink didn't even taste like there was any coffee in it.Had to get a burrito from Zombrero I was so hungry!Never going back!

Didn't get served and had too find a waiter, once we ordered our meals our eggs benedict sourdough bread was soaked in water. You could see water on the plate and I assume the chef was flat out and didn't drain the poached eggs. Also we had to chase up our coffee which did not arrive until after our meals. We paid 2x $8 for a ice cream float. It was in a small glass jar filled with ice and scoop of ice cream on top. Kids where so disappointed :(We always visit here when we come to Tamworth and sadly they dropped the ball this time.After posting this the manager Sean contacted us and was very apologetic. Very impressed that they took the time to get in contact with us.

Had a lovely breakfast with friends . Lovely setting , great staff , a nearby playground and splash park, lots of shade , food was good . Serving sizes generous without being too big . Coffee was well madeDid not have to wait long.

A great location for morning coffee. We were passing through Tamworth and looking for a cafe to get our coffee fix and we’re fortunate to find hopscotch.A restaurant/cafe in the park at the river bank. A choice of indoor our sunny outdoors with a children's park next door.Coffee was superb, service friendly and efficient and the orange /almond cake and carrot cake were a temptation so hard to resist.And it’s dog friendly in outside tables.

Our friends recommended Hopscotch since we were visiting the area for the first time.We were greeted by cheerful friendly staff.Meal was very tasty, may I say they were the best chips I’ve had in a long time.Pet friendly.Really enjoyed the atmosphere, well done team!

Hopscotch Restaurant & Bar
I visited here for breakfast with my children for the first time today. The food was very good and the restaurant was laid out so that we didn't feel claustrophobic. Chairs were comfy too. My only negative is that the temperature outside was 33 degrees yet they had opened up the windows instead of turning on the air conditioning. As a result it was uncomfortably hot inside and we all sweated through our breakfast.
