Delta Force Paintball Petrie - Brisbane

The staff were really helpful and friendly and the experience was very fun overall. Although it was my first time I was able to have a good time with my friends which is why I would recommend this place if you are thinking of going for paintball.However, there are also a couple of issues that need to be addressed. First of all, the map balance is really bad. There are three different maps and two games played per map. After each game the teams swap sides and there is always one side easier than the other. Across all my games in all three maps the team on the easy side won every single round which feels unfair and less exciting as you feel like your side will lose no matter what you do when you are on the wrong side of the map. And when you do win on the easy side such win doesn’t really feel like an accomplishment. This issue is particularly bad in the “humans vs zombies” map where zombies have to climb uphill and have really bad cover while humans just steamroll the game. The argument for this is that the zombies can respawn infinitely but I think you are forgetting that each bullet that hits you hurts so the zombie team is not going to just run recklessly ignoring their pain over and over like a real zombie would.Secondly, when you reach the venue the staff members tell you that you cannot shoot other players from less than three meters distance since it can be dangerous. I was following that rule to the point where once I even let someone of the other team hang with me under the same cover. However I still got hit twice during the day from less than three meters distance (and it hurts). Now, I fully understand that this is hard to control and mostly it is the fault of the player that did it. However, two of the maps have structures that are really essential to the objectives of the game (you basically have to go in them if you want to win). And inside of those structures it is simply not possible to respect the shooting distance rules. For instance, both of the times that I got shot from too close these structures were involved. I feel like these maps need to be rethought since they encourage the situation in which a player gets shot from close up and punish the players that (like me) follow the rule.If you address these issues your venue will offer a more enjoyable and safe experience. As of now, although I had a great time as a first timer, if I were to go for paintball again I would probably do my research and choose a place with better map planning.

I called to organise ourwork's end of year celebration and paid a deposit only to arrive after driving 50 minutes to what seems to be the farthest place in Brisbane only to find out the gates locked up. When I called to find out what was happening I was advised that the booking I had made and deposit taken had not been honoured as it apparently needed to be reserved yet again through the office, even though when I called to make the booking I said I wanted to lock it in and recieved no indication that this was only a tentative booking ( even though I paid a deposit)...Very convoluted way of operating, and not a very professional way of running a business, needless to say we will use another company to host our what is now to be a new year celebration rahter than end of year break up party..:(

Great gunho shoot em up experience. Expensive.... cost for the balls were $22 per hundred and depending on your ability you will burn through 100 to 200 per game easily.Good for a group of mates and party groups both girls and boys.

Our group had a blast. It was a great day out and the marshal Nick was brilliant. He organised the groups really well and was always there to solve any problems and to get us back into the action. Would love to go again. I hope the out of action maps are up and running soon though.

Avoid if you enjoy your bank account. To all that have purchased their recent marketing scheme of 10 prepaid tickets, just burn them. Over charging, triple charging.Lack of staff.Overpriced.Terrible online booking service.Slow reply from support.Lack of information on pricing.Pricing scam on arrival.Terrible game.Waste of time due to massive disorganisation.Not to mention being sworn at by the owner when I walked back to the lobby area mid game as I hadn’t been given any instruction otherwise with a rushed induction.Honestly what a shambles, I feel sad for your staff.

Was meant to attend this place with my mates,We each paid $80. We were free for one day due to work commitments..They call us the day before and cancel because another group pulled out.Now their so called head office, is refusing to refund our money.Absolute scam artists, i do not recommend this workplace at all, and i will be taking this further.

I ended up spending $500 here for tickets it was made out to be an amazing deal, it was not. The tickets didn’t include paintballs, or equipment. The guy that sold it to me implied that everything was included. guilted me into buying them by saying he could finally get the weekend off if he sold it to me and that his boss never lets him have time off. If was a scam please don’t fall for it ❤️

Always a great time awesome referees, amazing maps, very professional team very clear safty instructions before games. Will definitely be back for more fun
