The festival is great; they're camping, on the other hand, which is a disaster.If you want to turn up 3 or 4 weeks before the event and peg out a site all is good.Bring a toilet or hire a portaloo

Booked for 1 night. Arrived into Amamoor township on dusk so was dark by the time we found a spot at the camp site. Recommend using the QLD parks maps for clear directions to the camp site - helped us a lot in the dark as there are no lights at all !. The fire circles are great and need your own wood. We went mid week and the handful of other campers were friendly, quiet and respectful all had turned in by 8pm.It's a long way off the beaten track if you have rowdy Neighbours and you want to leave - but very pretty and worth a stay.

Lovely quiet campground, even on the weekend in the September school holidays (we drove into nearby Cedar Creek campground to have a look and it was full). Flushing toilets and grass campsites with your own fire pit - BYO firewood. Creek was quite low when we where there but the kids were still able to play there.

An informal open camping area in the State Forrest where you can setup wherever you wish. Nice quiet and relaxing spot, especially mid-week.

Great spot for casual camping. Especially good for dogs. So nice to camp without mozzies!! Regulars are mostly respectful of neighbors and always friendly. Fenced all round, safe for roaming kids. Flat, good for recreational wheels.
