Tyalgum Showgrounds - Camping

Nice little town to enjoy. Campground is top notch, views amazing!

Between caretakers atm but committee members are filling in. Clean amenities and the grass will be mowed in a couple of days but otherwise great view. Walking distance to township. Very unquie quaint set-up. Booked in for Puzza night. Might even get a massage in town too.

Love this place. Usually quiet and peaceful spot (apart from flying foxes but their noise is tolerable and they are such valuable fauna). Unfortunately some males thought having a few drinks with the music going and talking loudly into the wee hours close to other campers was ok. The caretaker does not tolerate such behaviour and after returning to site after a family get together, told the offenders to go to bed. The caretaker is loud but everyone nearby was awake anyway and had called caretaker to complain. Hopefully these selfish people do not return and will leave it to those who show respect and consider others.Loved having a dip in the Oxley River just behind camp.

Lovely kept grounds at the end of town. Caretaker was friendly & helpful. Reasonably priced. New, clean shower & toilet block. Clothes lines & kitchen facilities. Highly recommend.

Nice green areas, powered & unpowered sites. Some area's quiet muddy though. Clean amenities, easy check in & friendly service.

Will become one of our favourites. Great view of Mt Warning, hot showers and toilets. Huge camp kitchen. Caretaker Richard very friendly and helpful. Cafes within walking distance, pet friendly. Free fire wood. Powered site if you need it. Lots of room. Swimming two minutes walk..

Nice camp. Good camp kitchen hut tables were filthy. We has to wash them all. Caretaker is the only negative. Rude, swears like a trooper and refused to mow the lawn. Grass was knee high. And apparently it's not her job to do anything.

Beautiful scenery, peaceful surroundings. Friendly caretakers. Large camp kitchen. Clean amenities. Not sure what its like during peak season but off peak very quiet and relaxing. Everything within walking distance. Powered and unpowered sites available.
