Coast to Coast the Golden Roast Adelaide

We hired the Adelaide franchisee late last year for a Xmas function 80 people paid $40+ a head, the food was the worst we had ever experienced. I don’t know where they got the pictures from because that was definitely is not what we had given to us.The catering consisted of one adult and a teenager, they couldn’t even present the food properly we had to prepare the serving table l, we served the food and we also had to collect their plates and cutlery so that we could clean the hall that we hired. Not even 1 star.

Absolutely shocked and disgusted to find out that 2.5 weeks out from my wedding the Golden Roast had gone bust and not notifying customers. After multiple emails and unanswered phone calls we found out from 2 Google reviews what was happening. Thankfully we didn't pay a deposit!! How hard is it to send a simple email saying sorry we can't help you with your event so we could at least work on organising someone else to cater our wedding.

Due to the Covid pandemic the owner of the Adelaide Franchise could not tread water any longer and went into liquidation. The harsh restrictions placed on catering businesses in the state of SA was the catalyst for the business closing. Unfortunately head office was only notified a week before the business closed down. The owner was in severe financial hardship & his mental health was suffering.  He had advised head office that all functions had been notified, after reading the reviews this was obviously not the case. We are mortified & sincerely sorry you were not contacted & advised of the above. We hope you found alternative caterers.We have now reopened & are under new management. Golden Roast did a great job at catering for our wedding, and all was communicated well in the lead up. Highly recommend.

I attended a function during the week hosted and catered by Coast to Coast Golden Roast. The food was absolutely devine, cooked perfectly and Phil, the new owner could not do enough to ensure everything went smoothly. Will not hesitate to get these guys again.

If you want a caterer that runs out of meat & salads, plates and forks and serves it all cold then look no further. Coast to coast can provide this for you. Their excuse was they catered for the number requested. Have used 2 different caterers for 2 weddings (one was a spit roast caterer) who catered for the requested number of guests . Both of them NEVER ran out of food or served up cold food that should have been hot.

The food was plentiful and were given everything we asked for. The girls did a fantastic job did not stop all afternoon. Great personalities thank you

Had this company for our daughters wedding last weekend. Would NEVER use or recommend EVER!! The 'roast' vegetables were all boiled and served in foil. The cauliflower was raw and cheese sauce non existant. The roast chicken was just legs and wings...and they were still raw inside. All meat and veg were cold. Gravy was like water. Meals were definitely not what you would serve at a wedding! Steer clear of this company everyone! I give a minus 10 rating.

Went to a Wedding in the Gawler region catered by these people. Roast was the choice, the food was cold. The potatoes and pumpkin were only boiled and wrapped in alfoil. Carrots boiled and the Cauli was suppose to be in cheese sauce, well that was partly raw and sauce was non existent. The pork and beef wasn't bad. The roast chicken was just half raw wings and legs.Runny cold gravy and dinner rolls only defrosted not heated.They also did finger food, soggy spring rolls and cold everything else.I would not get these people, they are NOT wedding caterers. Worst meal ever. Felt sorry for the poor people who paid for this disappointment!! I have catered weddings and you guys need to take a long hard look at what you are doing because you are very bad!!

My husband and I attended a function catered by Coast to Coast Golden Roast. Phil has just taken over the Adelaide franchise and cooked the meat to perfection. The whole experience was amazing and we highly recommend them to anyone looking to cater for a large (or small) gathering.
