RSPCA Ipswich

My family have previously adopted kittens from here and it has been wonderful although a couple days ago my brother (28) and i (17) walked in to see if we could meet a kitten that i was very interested in. The lady said that he wouldn't be a good mix for our home while knowing the bare minimum about our lifestyle. We were also denied access to meet him as 'they were closed' when it was 4pm and as per the website and sign they closed at 5pm. I felt disturbed leaving as i was interested in giving a kitten a home while giving my cat at home a felion friend.

Took all spare sheets, towels, blankets for the animals comfort. My car was full and they kindly directed me to park closer to the storage area. Then staff helped me unload my car. Please don't hesitate to donate clean items like I have. Great people there doing great work.

Bought a wonderful cat who is well trained and has great manners and loves humans which tells me where he has come from has love and is safe. Nice and clean premises also.

I found a dog in my neighbourhood. The people here we're very helpful on what to do. I brought the dog down and it was an easy process to hand Pablo over.

Cared for my fur babies after the floods and they looked fantastic. Definitely well look after but so pleased to be home

So kind and caring. Very patient and helpful staff. Facilities were very clean and the animals we saw were all very well looked after. The cost was very reasonable. Please try them if you are looking to adopt an animal.

Last week I decided it was time to finally purchase a new dog after the passing of my girl earlier this year. I was more than accepting of the high prices which comes with the adoption of an RSPCA animal but was put off due to the condition at which the cats were living in at this shelter or should I say office building?The administration office had a cat litter smell which literally turned my eyes to water and my nose to burn, was absolutely disgusting!I feel sorry for the poor office staff which have to endure this on a daily bases and why these cats aren’t in a cattery I would love to know.Would loved to of spoken to the manager directly about this but was told he was busy on the day.Sad to say I didn’t bother viewing the dogs as I was to scared as to what conditions they would be sitting in and was a waste of my time travelling from far Brisbane to this RSPCA facility.

The staff here are beautiful and compassionate. They helped us make the most of the meet and greet with the dog that was to become our boy, and went to a lot of pains to make sure we were a good fit for him (and vice versa). They obviously really care about the animals, and even recognised us at the Million Paws Walk! Adopt, don't shop!

If you are looking to open your heart & extend your family then you are definitely in the right place. Your new best friend has been lovingly looked after by the wonderful staff at RSPCA. Your new best friend has had the tick of approval by a trusted vet. All animals are vaccinated, bathed, fed, desexed & micro chipped prior to coming home with you. Sadly there are many pets up for adoption. Thankyou from my heart for choosing RSPCA❤
