Burnett Medical Centre

I'm new to Bundaberg. I'm a new patient to The Burnett Medical Centre.All of the staff in reception where absolutely amazing, caring and kind.The Doctor that I saw was Dr Oguche he was very nice and very helpful.Keep up the good work.Cheers Troy.

I visited this clinic recently. After confirming my booking at reception, I found a seat and completed the initial consultation form issued to me. After a few minutes, the receptionist came over, took half the form and informed me to give the other half to the doctor when he calls me up. After about 1/2 hr, three people who arrived after me, were called in before me. After consulting reception on my concerns, reception advised me my appointment was actually half an hour later than what was initially agreed upon my arrival. When I questioned the time error, I was told the extra 1/2 hr was to allow for me to complete paperwork. I returned to my seat not believing this at all. After another 25 minutes, 2 more people who came in after me, and again called into the doctor before me. Again I questioned reception, I was told the doctor was behind schedule and I was next. I finally got to see him an hour after I was booked in. When I issued the doctor the paperwork, he told me it was the wrong form. Upon leaving I went to reception, and after a brief discussion amongst the staff, they found the right paperwork which I then completed. I handed it into reception ensuring with them was that all. They responded ‘yes’. Half way home in my car another receptionist rang me, advising me I had not paid as they don’t bulk bill the first appointment and it was a differently priced. I had never been informed of this. Their expectation was for me to return and pay. I stated I would not, but rather pay when I’m in town next. I will never return to this clinic. Although the doctor was fine, the reception staff have absolutely no idea what they are doing. Don’t waste your valuable time with this clinic

Dr Rahman is an absolutely fantastic Doctor. I have seen him for years now and he always meets you with a compassionate and caring attitude. Can't recommend him enough.The receptionists are all lovely as well, making the booking process a breeze.The nurses are wonderful and always make you feel comfortable.Highly recommend the practice.

Wonderful staff throughout the centre.Drs are great and have a good manner about them that makes them very approachable on any and every subject.Generally a dedicated, progressive Medical Centre with two local locations...

I took my three children for their vaccinations. The staff at the reception was polite and efficient. The nurses who administered the injections made sure the kids felt safe and was very caring. Dr Ashan was marvellous, and made it a point not only to discuss the issues with vaccinations but also helped to calm the children!

First time visit. Procedure to register very easy. Sheet to keep explaining expectations of the practice and services available. Doctor easy to talk to. Listened to questions. No feeling of being pushed out the door, which is why we are seeking a new practice. Plenty of seating. Appointment on time.

Our first time visiting the practice was amazing. We saw Dr Banu who we have previously seen at a different practice, she is very thorough and listens/ communicates well. All the admin staff were very friendly, helpful and very lovely manners.

As a new patient I found the sign up quick simple and efficient. My first appointment was on time. The doctor made me feel at ease and welcome. He took his time and I certainly did not feel rushed. I look forward to continuing my relationship with the Burnett Medical Centre.
