Tableland Veterinary Service - Malanda

It was Pilot’s Vax day and a very busy time at the clinic. We were warmly greeted and didn’t have to wait long for our appt. All the staff are friendly, efficient, courteous and obviously love their work.

All of our pets have been patients of Tablelands vet surgery for the last 17 years. I will only recommend these vets as they are thorough, gentle, genuinely care for your animal and are completely professional. The care and compassion they give to our fur babies and at times us is wonderful. I trust these guys completely with our animals and highly recommend them.

Our whelping dam’s birthing was not progressing as smoothly as planned. The amazing staff at Malanda Vets in Malanda took control and gave all the care she needed which was great relief to our family. Our girl is healthy and now has many healthy young to care for. Highly recommend this Vet practice.

Every person that assists us is always professional, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in every aspect of canine care. The training culture of this veterinary service is very evident. Their biggest struggle is training the pet owners, and they all do this with great diplomacy and patience. Thus our pets get the best all round preventative care which we must maintain.We are always confident our dogs are receiving the best up to date veterinary services, and I respect the time and effort they all invest in what can be a very challenging environment. Our dog’s health concerns were followed up thoroughly. We were readily able to book a consultation. We received reminders for the appointment prior and were greeted warmly upon arrival. In the waiting room I witnessed exceptional service from reception as a concerned pet owner struggled to decide what treatment options to pursue for her cat. Options were discussed thoroughly and patiently staff sought confirmation that she understood. Our vet consultation was timely and thorough and we appreciated the caring way our dog was settled before being examined. We also appreciated the clarity around cost and probable outcome of different treatment options and feel this meant we could make a fully informed choice. Our dogs all visit this vet happily and enter with a wagging tail. Highly recommended.

My assistance dog was seen quickly (within hours of a walk-in), was treated with great sensitivity and attention to her unique needs (and mine) and we were reunited quickly. I took my cat here years ago and they were really good but my recent experience was less positive. I asked for a quote on Monday and after being transferred to multiple people finally got a quote for things I didn’t ask for on Tuesday. I booked in for Thursday and again explained what I wanted. I was called two hours before the appointment by the vet who told me the quote was wrong and a had to pay a lot more. I agreed and paid in full. He said the report would be sent through that day or first thing in the morning. It still isn’t sent through and after calling the clinic they just said another lady would be in in an hour and they’d follow up. I’m sure I’ll get it eventually but it’s really not been good service and made everything alot more stressful. The team certainly needs to communicate with each other more

Have never been really happy with this place $ wise but last visit takes the cake. Simply ran out of ear drops. $32 online with script. We don't do scripts" charged $120 for 10 minute visit $60 for ear swab $90 for ear drops and lied when i asked if same drops. Got home

Can't thank the team at Tableland Veterinary Malanda enough for saving my Indy dog after she was bitten by a brown snake. The professional care & compassion they gave her saved her life. I am grateful to you and appreciate the dedicated work you do day after day.

They are very good with all my animals, I could never fault them on that. They will make a serious effort to fit you in as much as possible which is awesome. However, they can be on the more expensive side for everything, especially prescription foods, but it is the price of convenience
