I found the talk shop very professional, consistent and supportive and would recommend them to everyone.

Talk Shop is a capitalistic nightmare- they don’t care about your mental health just your money. I guess I should’ve read reviews first- terrible experience for those of us who need bulk billing. They only want to help those with money. They are raising their prices, and failed to tell me my Medicare card didn’t work when they tried the rebate (waited over two weeks for that $$). They also matched me with a psychologist who is about to go on maternity leave? Sorry but I’m not going to build a relationship with multiple psychologists. Read the room talk shop!

If you feel like my psychologist and her company are meeting my needs. Very professional. I would recommend them.

This group is probably the most tone deaf and insensitive psychology office I've ever had the displeasure of speaking to. The fact they no longer bulk bill (because of extreme waitlists) is communicated with a sad face emoji on the website. The person I spoke to over the phone only bothered to take my name before proceeding to rattle off 5 minutes worth of fees if I wanted to talk to anyone else. While I understand waitlists are long I would expect a counselling and psychology provider to be just a tad more emotionally in tune when customers are coming to them at times of high stress or depression. Don't bother.

Absolutely shocking agency for my clients to connect up with. Reception staff are poorly trained and inept. This agency needs to replace the staff. They are liability to their clients.

I had my first Bulk billing appointment today over the phone and will now take them vooa Video Telehealth, which is so much more convenient than in person. Linda was kind, caring, forthright and honest. They matched her to exactly what i need

Absolutely the worst experience. Was directed to Talk Shop in the Melbourne CBD after having a major mental health crisis. Therapist was nice but had no idea how to direct a session. Felt like just talking to a brick wall with minimal feedback and guidance.The worst part was when I had to cancel an appointment due to my meds making me feel too sleepy. Was told to pay a few HUNDRED dollars fee for the cancellation before I could see them again. Icing on the cake was the therapist emailing me MONTHS later to see if I was okay. Absolutely unhinged given the condition I was in.Do not use Talk Shop if your life depends on it and you’re after proper care. You’d get better therapy just chatting with strangers on Facebook.

I don't know what I would have done without The Talk Shop. After much emotional trauma, my sessions have helped me keep my head above water.
