Path is a little steep but it's worth it to see something so special!

Interesting history of the local aboriginal people of the area. A short 600m walk takes you to the artwork on the sandstone cliffs. Information sign along the path inform you of different plants and history of the area.

I liked this short walk up to see the hand stencilling. It's worth a look if going to The Drip. Not sign posted from the main road - the sign on the main road indicates an emergency exit but as soon as you turn in, the sign for Hands on Rock can be seen. The dirt road in is starting to get a bit rough. Our 2wd made it in no worries but I was starting to think about it a bit....

I drove from Mudgee and there was no internet connection. I had to rely on road signs to get here. There are no road signs and it is difficult to reach here unless you have downloaded offline maps. Request the council to improve the street signage.

Very hard to see the signposting from the road and the road in probably best to use a four-wheel drive but Well worth the 600 metre walk a little bit steep and Rocky at the end. It has chairs in the car park and a rubbish bin but no amenities so go before you leave.

There were a lot of spider webs (with various types of spiders on them) throughout the path and we had to use a stick/branch to remove the webs to proceed, otherwise we would have walked through all of them. We have given up after about half way and had to turn back as we have already encountered about 10 spider webs with big spiders on some of them. Also, after turning from the main road, you need to drive through an off-road dirt path which was very rough. Not recommended for cars with a low bummer.
