I went in today for a quick 10 minute look around and ended up staying an hour and boosting the local economy! This shop is an experience in itself - everything is carefully chosen and well presented. I especially enjoyed the fabric pieces - prints and materials you simply can't get today. The selection of ribbons, laces and trimmings is much better and cheaper than at larger stores like Spotlight and Lincraft. I also think their range of embroidery wools, patterns and supplies is more extensive and better priced than at larger stores. Plus there is lots of antique and vintage clothes, hats, gloves, handbags, costume jewellery, china cups and saucers, hand-embroidered clothes, aprons, crocheted doilies, handkerchiefs and doilies. I got lost in this wonderland!

Lovely shop with lots of beautiful pieces. But could you please change your opening hours to closed on Thursday? I came by today to have a gander but you were closed. And your opening hours say open on Thursdays. Otherwise, highly recommend this shop to any collector, arts/craft fanatic, or someone who likes to view antiques.

If you love sewing using vintage ribbons, lace, braid and buttons - you will love this store. They also stock so much costume jewellery, antique and vintage sewing items, knitting patterns, flapper bags and embroidered/ bobbin/ crochet tablecloths, mats and special antique/ vintage clothing. The way they showcase the items they sell is unique and special in itself. I love it and yes it's like ebay, but a lot cheaper!
