My son's guitar teacher Jason is dedicated, enthusiastic, an excellent communicator but mostly he gets the best out of my son. My son has passion for guitar and singing now and it is amazing how much he has learnt in a relatively short period of time. My phone call to ESSM to organise lessons was a fantastic decision and we haven't looked back.

I like ESSM. My kids are learing music from ESSM. They improved every term. Teachers are so kunds and humble, also friendly.I recomment you friend if you want really want to learn music to explore your skll, tament please go to ESSM

Great teachers at ESSM. My son has been taking drum lessons for quite a few years, currently completing VCE Music Performance, with great support from his teacher Luke, and also Jason at the Rockband workshops. Plans are now for further study in Audio Engineering /Sound Production following VCE.

Two of our children have been taught by the Eastern Suburbs School of Music for 10 years between them. Our oldest learned guitar and his teacher was nothing but encouraging and an excellent teacher right throughout his experience into VCE. Our youngest is a percussionist through school and wanted to get more lessons in drum kit with ESSM - his progress is just amazing! Well done to both teachers, Rhys and Nick - you have managed to teach them so much while maintaining a great attitude that they look forward to their lesson every week. Fully recommended A++

The Eastern Suburbs School of Music (ESSM) is a great place to learn. I was able to complete my VCE thanks to the help of my VCE theory lessons supplied to me by ESSM, buliding my confidence up with my theory as well as teaching me to play guitar. Over the last 5 years ESSM has helped me grow as a musician, complete my music diploma with ease as well as aiding me to learn both guitar and ukulele. The Eastern Suburbs School of Music has incredible teachers, fun and enjoyable lessons, fantasic opening hours, great rehearsal rooms, live performance shows, and rock band workshops. Would recommend to everyone!

My young son has just started to learn the violin here and is loving it. From my first email contact to the first lesson, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The violin teacher is friendly, approachable and professional - my son responds to her very well. Would not hesitate to recommend Eastern Suburbs School of Music for anyone interested in learning an instrument.

This school is great for anyone interested in learning more about music. There are lessons available on most popular instruments and lessons are suitable for any skill level from beginner to advanced. Everything from first learning your instrument to music theory is covered in an relaxed environment. All styles can be covered from metal, to blues to jazz to classical etc. Late classes are great for people who work or study full time. I highly recommend giving it a go

I cannot recommend ESSM highly enough as a great place for anyone at any stage of their musical journey - and at any age! I started bass lessons earlier this year (in my late 40s after playing woodwinds 30 odd years ago) and have been loving it. Daniel is an amazing musician, outstanding teacher and one of the most supportive people you'd ever meet.A couple of months ago I auditioned with and joined an originals alt rock band and that wouldn't have happened with Daniel and the ESSM team. Thanks so much and keep up the good work!

My 2 boys have been to a couple of music schools in the past and it was exhausting getting them to engage in their lessons. The teachers at ESSM are so kind, patient and engaging with the kids that my older daughter is now wanting to learn the drums. Highly recommended!
