Really good country pub. Great atmosphere, welcoming locals and meals are great value and quality. The rooms have been recently upgraded and are good.

My family and I stayed here for the June long weekend. It's a party pub however we were not advised of this when we booked. On the Saturday night the noise from the music was unbearable. One of the rooms windows was shaking the music was so loud\. People visiting the pub hung around and were very loud long after the music finished. The Sunday night the music was not as loud and there were no near as many people so I asked if the music could please be turned down and was told yes, however it was not. Further, I asked about being made aware of the music when we booked and was told 'this is a pub, this is what you get'. When I pointed out that other pubs were not noisy like this, I was told 'well this is where everyone comes'. I explained that we were from out of town and it would have been helpful to know this.Furthermore, the bathroom was not clean and clearly others were using it also.

Great customer service. Amazing food!! We were lucky to be here for pizza night- cheaper and more tasty than you’ll find elsewhere! House made beer battered bases too! Always support local when you are travelling through and they will look after you! Also, probably the cheapest beers I’ve come across on my travels! Thanks for having us!!

Great hotel for our 3 days visiting family.Occupied 2 rooms upstairs (twin bedroom for brother & sister, plus queen bedroom for my wife & I).Mon-Thurs, so function area between rooms was our lounge. Just great. Thank you.

We went there for dinner and had the Surf and Turf special, which was truly amazing. Lots of prawns, really nice garlic sauce, beautifully cooked vegetables and the steak was tender and cooked to perfection.

Went to this pub on Saturday night which wasn’t pizza night. Pizza night is Friday nights. Being a lover of pizza I asked the chef if he would make one for me - it was the best pizza I have ever had. Pulled pork - couldn’t ask for a more friendly team and the chef to make the pizza on a booked out night was simply amazing - thank you ☺️
