Great camp grounds. Plenty of spots and spread out so not on top of each other. Small monolith to explore. One long drop toilet, some fire pits and tables with benches. Rock to climb and explore. Very quiet.

Really loved the spot. If we didn't have a time commitment we would have stayed more than one night. Plenty of good, flat camping places. Great toilet block. We found lots of orchids - Lemon Scented Sun, Donkey, Laughing Leek (at least two variations), various spiders. Quiet, peaceful spot.

Great birds, interesting geology and history, not at all crowded despite school holidays, well situated for nearby wildflower wonders - and it's all free!No bookings.Visit Perenjori tourist information centre to get excellent advice about local attractions. The only downside is the damage to vegetation and soil done by irresponsible campers.

Beautiful camp site, drop toilet was in good condition. Some sites had fire pits available, the whole area was litter free so great to see people respecting that.Great spot to stop and enjoy nature along with a small piece of western Australian history.

Spent a night there last month and was impressed with the camping area and the rock itself. Plenty of room to get away from caravans and great fire pits to keep you warm.

Great little camp on the edge of the Karara Rangelands. The roads in are unsealed but in better condition than some of the bitumen that we have been on!There is a long drop, that was clean and stocked. Also there are bins, concrete picnic tables and fire pits/places as well. The whole campsite is flat and accessible by 2wd.It is the bush, so be prepared for flies and ants. The Rock itself is interesting if you get a bit of history on it. There were healthy frogs, tadpoles and dragonflies making use of the water.Would definitely go again.
