Best Friends Pets Virginia

I had my puppy groomed here yesterday. I asked for a long cut and when my husband picked him up he had been shaved so short we could see his skin.He looks terrible and we are so upset ! I would never recommend anyone going here.He has been completely butchered !!

Awesome experience. Walked in with 12 week old Chester and walked out with his complete care package sorted, a free bag of puppy food, some amazing new toys with a great discount and puppy school booked. All of the staff we spoke to were wonderful. Can’t wait to go back and see Maddy at puppy school.

Staff were dismissive of an assistance dog doing down stay training with handler. If the dog was a pet it would have been understandable. However the dog was not a pet. And the staff interacted with the dog while training and broke the dogs concentration causing the dog to move and follow them.

Fantastic staff and grooming service. Best around by far. Open to requests regarding grooming and my three big dogs always come out so beautiful and fresh!! Here are two of them after their grooming yesterday.

The staff here are what make the place great. If you are an animal lover you will be in great hands here. They are a wealth of information and will find the information for you if they don't personally know it, they go above and beyond what is considered good customer service by todays standards. They are exceptional. They retain staff for years and frequent customers are remembered and treated like friends, they remember your name, your kids names, your pets name. They are always friendly, smiling and happy to chat. In 5 years I have never had a negative experience or had stock unavailable. They have a sensible assortment of different items for a range of different pets and can meet your pet care needs. Keep being amazing guys and gals.

Wonderful team that look after our two German Shephards grooming needs with such patience and care. Very attentive staff and know and treat us very well. Judy and her team are very good at what they do and the front store staff are so polite and knowledgeable

Took my border collie to Best Friends Virginia yesterday for a deshed and a groom - they did an absolutely amazing job and I am so impressed! I will definitely be bringing my dog back here. Great friendly service too.

Love the staff at this location, this is my store of choice. I've been in here a few times and am always greeted with smiles and a cheery disposition. I believe the manager is a lovely girl that has helped me out in the past and it's nice to see managers out on the floor and helping and serving customers not just sitting around like you see in a lot of other places. It is sad to see that their dried catnip has been discontinued since the last time i visited though

It's not about the money for me it's the principal. Don't risk your fur baby looking like mine. They butchered him. staff extremely RUDE and condescending especially the manager of the store Emma,. Emma in particular has no CUSTOMER SERVICE skills. Don't go here you'll be sorry, it's not cheap

We buy 'Big Dog' dog food from here. We get a discount and earn money off our next purchase. Our doggo loves coming here with us. She always gets lots of attention off the lovely staff who work here. She also loves sampling the treats. Helps us to know which treats to buy next.
