Following the sudden and unexpected passing of my wife’s father, I wanted to create a memento that embodied Peter – or “Pa” as he’s known by the kids – using his favourite material, timber. And given its symbolic importance, I had to use someone I trusted, whose products were both aesthetically pleasing, high quality and durable. That’s where Hourigan Designs came in. Amazing Work!We requested for this sign to be made with a pretty quick turn around, as our friend couldn't make one for us. We wanted it for the day we got our Keys to the House, as we were doing a little bit of a photoshoot, being it was such a special day. But I am so glad we got it done at Hourigan Designs. The Work was exceptional and we were able to communicate what we really wanted. This sign is outside our house, being that the Estate's name is called Orana which means Welcome. And as soon as we heard of the Estate's name we thought of Ohana, meaning Family. So we had the sign made, Orana Ohana Welcome Family""
