Marty is a professional and encouraging music teacher who can adapt his teaching style to suit me (as an adult student) or my 8-year-old daughter. Both of us have grown in confidence and ability over the 6 months that we have worked with Marty.Marty has also been flexible with lesson times when life happens. Definitely recommend.

I have witnessed my son grow in confidence towards learning a new piece of music being tutored by Martin, he is able to ‘make it fun’ and is encouraging. Martin is an easy-going and approachable music teacher who is able to adapt his teaching style to suit my 7-year-old. Martin is sadly no longer our piano teacher as he has moved to Brisbane, however, if he were to ever come back, he’ll be our first choice!

Marty is an excellent music teacher. He taught my two children over the last couple of years and they both really enjoyed every lesson. He was always patient and encouraging, challenged them as needed and made great music suggestions for lessons.

Martin was my daughters first piano teacher. We were fortunate to have Martin teaching through a year of in-person piano lessons prior to the COVID19 pandemic, and Martin really demonstrated his patience and resilience throughout this really challenging period. We were unable to continue face to face learning due to Victoria lockdown restrictions, and in order to keep my daughter engaged, Martin used different types of resources to make sure that my daughter kept her interest in playing the piano, and would compose scales of her favourite songs to keep her interest in practicing.I strongly recommend Martin as a music teacher!
