brilliant a must place to buy

My favorite shop in launceston, I can not only get all my fav German food including their beaut bockwurst, but I get to practice my German too. Very friendly shop and a treasure trove of German/continental foods.

I go here every Monday usually.This week its been 3 days .Im addicted what can I say . Bloody amazing and ive been in the food industry for 36 yrs .

I have NEVER been treated so rudely by a shop. I phoned to enquire about bread. I was only a few words into my first sentence when the lady said she was not the Post Office. Since when does bread sound like Post? She said I had the wrong number and hung up on me while I was trying to explain I had the right number and wanted bread. I phoned back, hoping for a better interaction. This time I got out two words. She recognised my voice and repeated she was not the Post and hung up on me. Her unprovoked rudeness felt like a punch in the gut. Her unexplained refusal to let me finish even a short sentence, a smack in the face. Needless to say, they have lost for ever a customer who liked the sound of their shop very much, and who would have been a regular buyer of the artisan bread they sell. I just wanted to check that they hadn't sold out before I travelled 15 minutes by car (each way) to make the same discovery. I will not be treated by that by anyone anywhere. There are other places in Launceston that sell beautiful bread.
