I have used Allfix Plumbing and Gas twice now. I live interstate & for me, it is crucial that I can rely on a plumber who is trustworthy and totally professional. I had a leaking tap & Ian has been exceptionally good to deal with, he fixed the problem within the hour. First class service and very reasonable charges. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending Allfix Plumbing and Gas

I do have to say that Ian did pick up the phone and respond to my urgency with the leak at my water metre. He did turn up of a Sunday and fixed the leak at the water metre but unfortunately that's where his professionalism stopped, he followed by tenent to the back of my property as he said to bleed taps when he had already passed three taps at the front of the dwelling. While doing this he detected a fault with my gas bottles What upsets me most is that I only gave him the authority to access the front of my property and fix a broken water pipe not to detect faults that that weren't done by me but by other plumbers who installed the gas bottles by the legislations and requirements years ago. Which caused me unnecessary stress as he did say that he could of put a default on it as he has been given authority by Mine's And Energy Department which is only a legislation not a law. My advice to other customers to keep an eye on him make sure he only attends to the job that you authorised him do.

I was very impressed with Ian's communication and explanation on what was required in relation to plumbing repairs at my property and documenting the repairs with photos before covering up. Ian was also able to offer the same day service for my leak.

I'm 100% satisfied with the job done by Allfix Plumbing. The old hot water system burst after 27 years. I rang Ian and within an hour he was onsite and within 2 1/2 hours the new Thermann 250L Hot Water system was installed and continues to function properly. Allficx arranged for the sparky from SmartElec to meet him on site to hook up the electrics. The price for the new system and labor was very reasonable. Many thanks for a job well done!

Allfix placed a whole new pipe from my water meter to my house, as the existing pipe under my driveway was repeatedly sprouting new leaks.All seemed to go well.The following morning, my tenant called to let me know that there was a small leak at the join between the new pipe and the existing pipe leading into the building.I gave Allfix a call. No biggie. Probably just needed tightening. They'd be out that afternoon to fix it up.The tenant called to say Allfix didn't show up.I called Allfix again. No biggie. The plumber was busy and must've forgot to stop in after the last job for the day. They'd be out after lunch.Allfix again didn't show up.Again, again and again.Each time, my tenant let me know that the plumber never showed.By now, the slow leak had turned to a garden sprinkler system, unfortunately positioned over concrete.After 5 weeks of repeated calls, excuses, promises to be out each afternoon and a near $2k excess water bill, I called another plumber, who managed to show up and finish the job within an hour or two.I'm not a plumber, nor a business owner, so I'm probably not qualified to declare what a 'good' plumbing business model really is.Unqualified as I am though, I can say that this isn't it.
