Very well organised ski training provided. Only setback was the food services as we had only one option which was a cafe there and the food served was not good. But still the overall experience was awesome

Would have been a 5 star but the ski rental on a Saturday morning is a zoo- taking about an hour meaning we all missed the start of our lessons. Ski instructors generally great- a perfect place for beginners.

The BEST place to snowboard / ski, especially if you're a beginner

Surprising good runs and facilities. Smiggins doesn’t have the big ticket black runs of Perisher but it does have a far more relaxed atmosphere! The runs are green and blue more suited to beginner and intermediate skiers, but in truth, my wife and I enjoyed being here today more than the hustle and bustle of Perisher. Lines for lifts and t-bars are short, runs aren’t huge but your never too fussed as you can just use the lifts etc to get back up the mountain in minutes! Somewhere I would definitely bring the kids. And if you get bored it’s two t-bars and a run back to Perisher!!!

Loved it, with Perisher ski beside it.2 days trip with group and had so much fun only down side for no exp that ski pass is a little bit expensive, if can stage into different level passes could be better, that with basic leaner normally 90% pass is a waste. But considering all trains and lift labour facilities to run, if experienced definitely worth it.

What a hole!! Not enough parking, no decent food, chaotic hole!We booked our 9 yr old for begginners snowboarding lesson. They basically gave no lesson. The instructor gave verbal direction and left them on their own. My daughter was nearly in tears trying to get up and not knowing what to do with no instructor around. I had to pull her out from the lesson because she was so beaten, on her own, stuck with her board! Just very very bad service..so disappointed!!

Food options are much better than Perisher. Enjoy my chicken curry lunch a lot. Smiggin Holes is very beginner friendly, less crowded and a perfect place to practice t-bar and everything else.

Great place to learn to ski/snowboard. The terrain is relatively easy and the staff on the lifts are always friendly (just remember to use your manners - a happy lifty is a helpful lifty!!!)My kids learnt to ski there this season (2018) and are already asking to go back next year.A few more car parks wouldn't go astray, but if you get there early, you'll be able to park.

Smiggin Holes is the best resort area at Perisher for beginners. Lots of cruisy green runs and a good mixture of J bars, T bars, and a chair lift. For more advanced skiiers or boarders, there's a terrain park just over the back. Parking at Smigs is much easier than Perisher, and it's easy to get to any other resort areas from there.

Not that many ski lifts but its ok. This place isn't really good for those people who want to go for a really long ride down a slope. Personally I'd rather go to perisher but if you want to teach someone how to ski then it would be a really good place.
