This was the best smashed avo I have had. I love the spice mix they used. Coffee here was also so flavourful and strong. Would come back again if I am in Newcastle in the future

Ordered toast with peanut butter and received toast with so much peanut butter on it, it was sliding off and sticking to the roof of my mouth and hands. No napkin provided. My niece, when she finally got her toast, had far too much vegemite on it. There seems to be a lack of consistency at this cafe as another reviewer’s photo shows hardly any vegemite.Recommend to the owner of this cafe that condiments should be on the side of the toast. Everyone’s tastes are different so it’s weird they slap it on here.Overall thought the service and cafe environment was lacking, our meals came out piecemeal and the food and coffee was nothing to write home about. Unsure if something has changed to affect this cafes seemingly good reputation?

Sherwood Coffee - New Lambton
Had such a great experience placing a large order for my workplace on Thursday. Called ahead to give the staff a heads up and everything was ready to pick up and pay for when I arrived. Coffee was incredible and the pastries were also great - I recommend the carrot cake! Staff were super friendly and accomodating too!!

What a great little place. Friendly service, nice coffee and food was great. Acai bowl was sweeter than I prefer but would go back for sure. The bonus is the awesome kids play room that's full of toys = a little quiet time for mum and dad ☺️

I have ordered from here quite a few times, I always get almond milk. Multiple times the milk has been mixed up and normal milk has been used. This morning I got Vegemite toast and you could barely taste the Vegemite.

New Lambton has many good coffee shops but Sherwood has the best tasting coffee and excellent customer service. Breakfast food is tasty and made quickly. For lunch try The Ruben. Sherwood is family friendly and they have a play room out the back so you can enjoy your coffee.

Visited this cafe before we opened our own. Blown away by the coffee, food and service. These guys inspired our own Deluxe Bacon and Egg roll. Pleased to say it not only matched our first experience but bettered it. Keep up the great work guys!

Being from out of town, I didn't know where to go. This place was chosen because it seemed to have a tidy looking appearance and higher rating.It did not disappoint! I had a takeaway bacon egg breaky roll (on brioche) and a takeaway Al flat white. The coffee wad one of the best I'd had around newy so far and loved the brioche roll !Amazing. Would recommend
