I purchased Hermann Oak side from Makers Leather Supplies Australia. I was looking for Hermann Oak and couldn’t find it anywhere else in Australia. I came across this website after googling leather online.HO leather is gorgeous and I love carving it. The knife just slides through it like butter.I have been talking to Nerilee about Wickett & Craig English Bridle sides for horse tack and think that will be my next leather purchase.I also really enjoy their videos on Facebook. It helps a lot to see the leather and how stiff/soft it is. And you describe it beautifully. Makers Leather Supply Australia might be based in Tasmania however there service is excellent. Love there unique finishes, accessories, patterns and templates that are not normally available in other stores in Australia. Steve and Nerilee are really helpful however one very positive feature with their products is they often have a video on the use of that product. Keep up the good work guys.
