Stunning views! It’s an easy path to get to the lookout, that is less than 500m return. It’s an easy bitumen drive in and we could park our 21ft caravan easy. Hawks Head Lookout
We stopped here for sunset, the car park and facilities seem to be well maintained. The walk to the Hawk's Head is short from the car park. I was disappointed with the view, definitely the least impressive of the 3 main ones which are signposted and there are definitely more interesting spots along the river gorge.The official lookout platform is poorly placed and gives a bad view of the Hawks Head.The best photos are taken from over the barriers where signs forbid you from going. (even ones on the tourism/Parks and Wildlife Gov website)A waste of a good sunset for a photographer.

Nice look out place , amazing view from the hawk head rock , be careful when have a big wind taking photo near head rock ,better don’t take a risk ,Have some kangaroo passing road when travel this place must be careful don’t hurt them .

Hawks Head Lookout
Beautiful views in a very tranquil section of the National Park.Well worth stopping to see as no walking involved and often overlooked for the other parts of the park.
