0 Stars - but won't let me post unless I select at least 1 star!!! Lacks integrity. Demolished house next door and destroyed my inlaws back yard in the process. Said they were going to make good but have not. Kept saying Shed was coming ... never did. Made to go through our own insurance to claim damages. Very stressful for elderly owners who were minding their own business when an incompetent demolition operator lopped Norfolk Pine into their back yard, just missing back of house. Destroyed even more when tried to remove tree! Do not use. What is said is not what is done! 30/5/17

I've been there a couple of times for various building materials I need for an older house. They always have the right materials in the older sizes that aren't available from everyday hardware.Prices are pretty good too.

Arrived to find a vast variety of doors, windows and other items.POSITIVESAll the items had their measurements clearly written and their prices.Lanes of neatly placed like items for easy access and view.CUSTOMER SERVICENon-existentWe were left to wander about to look at styles and measurements by ourselves.NEGATIVEThe floor was saturated with water and very slippery.No customer service

Highly recommend The Demolition Yard at Coorparoo. Found some really hard to find timber pieces for my projects here that I haven’t been able to find elsewhere. Peter has been most helpful on the 3 occasions I have been in (September 2022) really knowledgeable and I really noticed the quality of the timber is in a lot better condition than other demo yards! The time they take to remove them with very little damage really shows. Extensive variety of sash windows, all sizes and types of timber. Reasonable prices too.

Stopped in for a quick look and found exactly what we needed. The owner was super helpful, and was very generous in the sale! Lots of doors, timber, windows, gates, and even some old tools and interesting knick-knacks. Well worth a look!
