Pretty disappointed.This place offers a amazing vibe but attached is the $17 smashed Avo on there menu, I clarified with a staff member that that is indeed how it is generally portioned, as you can see in the photos the Avo is thin and old, the eggs were cold and looks to have been sitting for a while and garnished a small smattering of Fetta... also wasn't very busy to excuse the poor effort.The food here is priced on par with Funky Monkey (around the corner) but isn't even comparable in quantity or even quality.

Salty Groms Cafe, located on the Esplanade in Lakes Entrance, is a must-visit spot for anyone in the area. The cafe is small but charming, and the friendly service is always top-notch.From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted with a warm smile and a friendly hello. The staff at Salty Groms are some of the nicest people you'll meet, and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They are also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to offer recommendations.Speaking of the menu, Salty Groms offers a fantastic selection of breakfast and lunch items, as well as delicious coffee and other beverages. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast burrito, a fresh salad, or a perfectly brewed cappuccino, you'll find it all here.Overall, I can't recommend Salty Groms Cafe enough. The friendly service, delicious food, and amazing coffee make it the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, or a quick snack. If you're in Lakes Entrance, do yourself a favor and stop by Salty Groms - you won't regret it! Five stars all around.

Flat white was velvety and delicious, not burned - great coffee on the road.Brekkie wrap was fine, but at only $10 I can't complain.Would definitely come here again!

Great portions, food had a puddle of water at the bottom of my salad but still delicious, extremely hot day so a fan or aircon would work wonders in store. Fresh juices were amazing, wish you could order larger sizes!

Coffee was good, food was fine, but waiting over 30 mins for food to come out (having watched other people order, eat and leave in the same time), while essentially being ignored wasn’t a great overall experience.We were hoping for a quick lunch stopover while travelling, but if you’re up for a long lazy meal it may not be an issue.

Walking up to the Cafe we were greeted by a very kind individual who was extremely helpful with menus and specials. The service continued to be exceptional and the food was served very quickly. The cheeseburger was tasty and the chips golden and crunchy. The Groms Big Breakfast lives up to its name with a large serving of fresh produce and very crispy bacon. Would recommend and will be back.

Great food but service was very poor.12 people and the table was for 8!.The chairs were pushed right to the back ,we needed to rearrange ourselves.I have big groups of friends, so we've ordered veriety of foods to share.When asked a few extra plates ,they asked us to pay for the extra money!!!! Our orders were always $170+.When mentioned to one of the staffs , She simply reply I'm not the boss .I feel that staffs are pretty biased and rudeThey've just lost us.

Most attentive customer service we've had in a loooong time! Washer and his staff have been wonderful. From the warm greeting, speedy table service, delicious food and cheery atmosphere, there isn't much more one could ask for while having breakfast on holiday. Thank you so much!!

The best burgers and chips in the area! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Coffee and sweets were top notch! Very affordable prices.Overall, it was an amazing experience.
