We had put a 9ct gold chain in to have one link joined.When we went back to collect it, my chain was in four pieces and not repaired.I said it was unexceptable and their reply was the jeweller said it was crumbling as he heated it.I found this very un true as gold does not crumble and why it was in 4 pieces was beyond me.Head office said there was nothing they could do as the gold chain was not purchased through them, I explained it was a gift and I was unsure where it was purchased.I encourage other patrons to shop elsewhere as their policy and service was not to a jewellery shop standard.
