I had a piercing done 2 days ago with Dimitri and I was very impressed. The place was very clean and hygienic. I was very nervous to have the piercing done and was thoroughly impressed with Dimitri’s patience with me, not to mention the knowledge and information he gave me as well. Would highly recommend! I tried to get pierced here and arrived for my appointment ready to go after reviewing everything on the website only to be told by the extremely rude piercer, Hayley, that she wouldn’t pierce me due to an upcoming flight. When I asked why this wasn’t listed as an issue on the website, she noted that the website is “dodgy” and “out of date.” I’ve been pierced multiple times within 24 hours of a flight and had surgery within a week of a flight with absolutely zero issues with pressure, so being told it’s not possible to pierce within a week of a flight doesn’t seem accurate. Additionally, Hayley’s poor attitude the entire time made it unclear if this is actually a shop policy or if she just didn’t want to work, with her at one point seeming to imply I couldn’t afford real gold and diamond pieces. Her only offer was that she could help with piercing change outs… And I was looking for lobe jewelry so the odds of needing assistance on a change out were around zero. In the end, I wasted $120 on cab fare to/from this location without buying anything at all because I got stuck dealing with an incredibly rude employee.

First time being at this place & I travelled from Canberra twice in 3 weeks for my piercings. I booked in with Larissa because I got a recommendation from a complete stranger a few weeks ago :) I could not be happier with the professionalism, the friendly staff, I was made to feel super comfortable & at ease with my piercings. Dimitri was AMAZING! This was the second time getting my nipple pierced, the first time was not a great experience and ended up taking them out. Dimitri was super professional and put me at ease. He answered all of my questions and gave extensive after care instructions adding to call if I was worried about anything or had any further questions. It’s been 2 months and it’s healed amazingly!

I usually see Hayley who is an absolute Angel, she has curated my ears to perfection over the last 2 years (and still going). Today I also got myTongue pierced by Jake - at first I was hesitant to try a new piercer but he was absolutely fantastic. Great conversation and connection with each other.Mach on front desk was also absolutely amazing with helping with jewellery choice before the piercers were ready.I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s worth the journey and the price every time. I’ve never had a bad piercing or an infection from them and as a doctor myself, I know what to look out for in terms of cleanliness.Cannot fault these guys!!!! Have had compliments from travelling all over the world on my ear piercing curation.Thanks team! Xxxx

Took my elder child in to get their ears pierced. Jake was our piercer and he was an absolute joy. Calm, informative and so very kind. The front of staff folk were also lovely. There's a general atmosphere in the entire studio that is very welcoming and accepting and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is looking to get piercings for their teenagers. Absolutely lovely.

My partner and I went in to get our septum pierced. The service was so professional, they walked us through our hardware options and the prices for each different type of ring. We were then taken upstairs to private rooms, this made the experience alot more comfortable. All utensils were opened in front of us which is a level of professionalism I really appreciate. Hayley and Dimitri really looked after us. Thank you for your clean, professional service and most of all for making us feel comfortable

My friend and I walked in on Friday afternoon and had our septum and helix pierced… we honestly could not recommend more, Dimitri was wonderful, knowledgeable, professional, and put us both at such ease with our new piercings!

Got my helix pierced by Dimitri - it was my first cartilage piercing but Dimitri was incredibly kind, informative, really detail-oriented and super patient with me despite being so nervous! Was such a great experience, and I would 110% go back again :)

Do not get your child's ears pierced here.I booked in for my nine-year-old daughter to have her ears pierced at Industrial Strength. When we arrived I was told we need to show my photo ID driver's licence, my Medicare card with my daughter's name on it, along with either photo ID for my 9-year-old daughter or her birth certificate to prove I was her mother. Of course, as I was not told of these requirements prior, I did not have my daughter's birth certificate with me and she doesn't have photo ID. I therefore logged into my MyGov account and showed them my daughter's full immunisation history which also had her DOB in it, which they required. They still refused to go ahead with the booking and kept my deposit. The staff were incredibly smug and completely unaccommodating. I would not recommend this place at all! It was a complete waste of our time and money.We ended up going to Dolce Vita Beaute up the road. Who were incredibly professional, the clinic was spotless and the staff were very friendly, warm and made my daughter feel relaxed and secure. No ID was required, only a signature. They pierced both of my daughter's ears at the same time, which was over in a second, stress-free, painless and half the price of Industrial Strength. They gave my daughter a lolly pop, and she felt totally cared for. This was a fantastic experience.If you plan to get your child's ears pierced I highly recommend avoiding Industrial Strength at all costs. Instead, go to Dolce Vita Beaute up the road.
