Llewellyn presented himself a an arrogant and disrespectful sparkie that came to our property trying to fish extra work outside the company he works for. One of our neighbours recognise him from previous experience and gave us info saying he works for Ballarat Solar

A friend recommended Ballarat Solar & Electrical and I contacted Matt and arranged a quote which was accepted. we were lucky due to a cancellation that solar could be installed earlier than expected.The electricians arrived on time and put in a hard days work and the installation is now up and running.The three electricians were fantastic guys, polite thoughtful about us and the house, deserve more the the 5 stars.Matt and Sanjev were also great to deal withCouldn't recommend then highly enough for the job.

Do not use this business.The quote was given using a google earth photo without viewing our home. The owner, Sanjeev Srinivasan, then came to our home and wanted to move a north-facing panel to the south roof as it wouldn't fit on the north as in the quote. After our objection he decided it would fit on the north side anyway. (He wouldn't get on the roof to measure, but said he knew by counting the tiles.) We paid our deposit.Workers arrived a few weeks later, and , as we suspected, the panel wouldn't fit on the north roof. After discussions about alternative positions and a call to the office we were told it would fit after all!But then they said that the tile battens were too thick and fitting would be very difficult. In fact the roof may even leak. I suggested getting a roof tiler to inspect but they declined.They withdrew from the contract quoting a clause saying they could terminate due to any latent conditions discovered after the date of this agreement." The whole process took 76 days.Do not use a solar system business that does not inspect the site first. In our case we believe that a cheap quote was given to get the job

We used the team for an off grid solar installation for a house and shed. Sanjeev and his crew are easy to work with, professional, reliable and competent tradespeople. They take the time to explain what’s going on and get the job done with minimal fuss. Highly recommended

Ballarat Solar and Electrical Installed our Rural Off Grid solar system for about the same price as Powercore quoted to connect power to our new property. This included solar panels, batteries and a backup generator. Sanjeev gave us excellent service in designing and then installing the system.There were no variations or hidden extras, either!We are in our sixties and have had many dealings with tradesmen, but have rarely encountered such an honest and reasonable technician as Sanjeev. He resolved our few small teething problems very quickly and at no charge, answering our naive questions fully and with patience.His crew, run by Ian, were also very professional and courteous. We had no qualms about giving them the run of our house to do internal wiring and install the solar management module. They left the site cleaner than they found it, as well! We thank them sincerely for a job well done.
