Silver Sands Beach
It's a nice quiet local beach, dog friendly and people seems to know each other. We parked at Ormsby Terrace Parking South and they have a public toilet there.

A clean safe beach ideal for families. My dog lives to swim and it is safe for him with one side dig beach other side dogs on leads. Our go to beach all year round

Silver Sands Beach
Silver Sands is my local beach and I use it most days. It is a beautiful quiet beach stretching for Kilometers. Waters are calm and great for families and older people.

Beautiful place to have lunch and let kids play at the playground. Was so windy today though, kids were sliding on the seats lol

The beach is clean and easy to access, but it is not patrolled and has a steep slope or steep down to the water.Great for watching and enjoying sunsets, though.

Very nice place to relax in this beach with a beautiful Panoramic view. After completing your first trip at Dolphin Island cruise you can come here and relax.

We came down for a birthday. Lovely day, nice & clean & access to public toilets.3 stars because the BBQ's weren't working. This is the second time.Luckily I was able to go home & get our portable BBQ

Silver Sands Beach
Rather hazardous walk to the beach by the playground with uneven rocks impeding easy access for those of us who have trouble walking and balancing. Sand also heavy to navigate. I found this spot uncomfortable and prefer the easier access at Doddis Beach Halls Head.

Silver Sands Beach
Well, I can only speak for parking here to wolf down a domino's pizza while it was still hot - in the dark... but from what I could see, there are a few tables and gazebos, BBQ spots, and a view of the beach. The carpark is quite large, and the area is quite peaceful. I wouldn't expect it to be too busy. Considering it's winter weather at the moment it is a bit colder and you can definitely feel the wind. Worth a stop.
