Pampered Petz Hornsby

I went to have a look at getting some new toys for my cat and asked the girl Talise but she ignored me, so I asked her again if she could help me but I decided to leave as I didn’t get any service.

It seemed like a really good shop at first. Lots of product for your pets. But one day when I was roaming around, I realized that in one of the tanks, the fishes were all at the surface gasping for air meaning low oxegen in water. 5 fishes had even died. I informed one of the staff and she scooped out the dead fish and didn't seem too bothered and didn't take action. I went to this shop again and found that they have replaced the tank with another breed. It really upset me to have known so much fish died due to carelesness. Pampered Petz, fish lives matter! Also, I can tolerate the fact that you put puppies in confined loud spaces but putting a puppy there alone is just inhumane. I am very displeased, please take better care of your animals.(It's Ruiqi)

Shocked to the state of all the poor fish today. I have been shopping here for literally years, and will no longer support this shop. I approached the sales assistant to let her know there were multiple dead fish and unwell bettas. She told me they were being treated - yet they were in a shared filtration system with other fish that were for sale. Sales assistant was rude & basically said oh well! Lack of compassion for the animals from this assistant truly solidified the lack of care this shop provides. I understand some might think they are “just fish”, but that doesn’t mean it’s ok to let them live/die without proper care. Gross & actual neglect.

Went to the store today around 1:15 pm saw the owner yelled at all poor puppies, and roughly grab one of the puppy throw into the room behind the counter, I was shocked! Please do not buy anything here, do not buy any animals.

Great store with a cute selection of animal supplies and the cutest puppies. I was help by the lovely staff this weekend who were great at answering all my questions despite how busy it got. Thank you for all your help!

This a fantastic local Hornsby pet store. The owners and staffs are very knowledgeable in pet's health and products. I also purchased one cute dog and a healthy cat from the shop few years ago. I know I can count on them for their advices. Recently, they helped me with my kitten BonBon's recovery from FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) even I got my kitten from another breeder. They are definitely animal lovers and passionate about their business.I just love their tidy store layout and impressed with their extensive product range. It is definitely my go-to pet shop when I need to buy pet products.

Great Pet store with great range of pet accessories and well priced compared to their compactors. They also do dog grooming on small breeds.

Regularly bring my King Charles here for grooming. Owner is wonderful, very caring and I trust her to take good care of my fur baby. She has a wide knowledge and has helped advise me in products relating to both my dog and our new kitten. Highly recommend this store.

Was right across from this store yesterday afternoon for about 15mins waiting for something and all I herd were puppies barking mostly the whole time. Watching the guy working there in the store, he went over a few times to wipe something and other times he appeared to do nothing while walking over to them. Seemed a bit of a tease for these puppies desperate for stimulation or comfort. These puppies were clearly bored and somewhat distressed sitting in a tiny space surrounded by clear plastic walls. No enrichment to stimulate them. No toys. Nothing. Cruel. Please don’t come back with a counter review to say you so x,y,z to enrich them. Because what I saw were very sad and distressed animals clawing at the confined plastic walls. Buy your pet from a breeder who stimulates and enriches their puppies with proper space to have them socialise in their packs. It will not only be mentally better for your little one but they will in turn have no behavioural issues such as separation anxiety, food guarding, fear of noises like fireworks or storms, aggression towards other dog etc..These puppies yesterday looked like they could come with a myriad of these issues just based on how much they were barking.
